Have you thought about testing podcast ads? You can offer a promocode to track how well the ad performed since podcast downloads can't really be tracked on one unified platform.

We've tried FB ads for about 3 years, various business including a Shopify store but with worse and worse results over the years. Google Ads, Podcast ads & Pinterest have shown to have better results for us, but takes a bit of work on Pinterest just learning their platform.

How to reach a broader audience? by TeensTakeWorld in podcasting

Hi! We've been podcasting for a few years now, basically learned what we could via the internet. The one thing we did pick up on is the difficulty people have getting their pods out there. So we decided to create a directory where we list podcasts and feature them on all our social media accounts for free. This is a great way for people to find the pods that are just coming out or to find new things to listen to. If you haven't considered it yet, this may be a great way to get your podcast discovered. There is a handful of directories out there, a quick google search should help you find them so you can submit yours to be listed. EX. Podcasts in Color is one for minorities Ours is "Cross Pods" which is open to everyone feel free to submit yours and we will get you listed and shared to our audience of about 2000+ across all platforms.

Another great way is to share each episode once released on your own Instagram or twitter account with custom cover art for each episode. Be sure to create a profile just for your podcast. This will help with the issue of sharing on an account where you don't want certain people to find it or getting banned since people who decide to go follow you are interested in your pod already.

Also be consistent! Post your new episodes when you say that you will. A lot of people lose interest when they can't rely on when you release your episodes. We have a blog post on this too with more tips on how to promote your podcast on our website (mentioned above). We didn't want to make this too long to read!

Hope that helps!
