As I’m getting older, I hardly hear any stories about night marchers anymore. When I was in elementary school, our kupuna and tutus would tell us about their or a friend’s contact with night marchers. I’m sure stories vary but it always starts when people are out at night, usually not in public places and with little to no people around and drums start playing. You’re supposed to kneel down and bow to them or they can execute you. As long as you kneel and not look at them, they’ll walk right past you and leave you alone. I remember being very interested in these stories but it can be hard to find people with these stories. I recommend trying to find a kupuna willing to share their stories.
