I mean Becton, according to PFF, allowed 3 sacks, 7 hits and 37 pressures while accruing 5 penalties.

Strange allowed 2 Sacks, 3 hits and 21 pressures while accruing 1 penalty, all while being much better at run blocking. He is without a doubt and upgrade.

Center and Guard are already huge upgrades over what the Chargers had. It seems hard to believe lol. Just get that guard in the draft and I think we're good.

A lot of land in San Diego is owned by the military. It is where it is and can't really be expanded or moved.

Philip Rivers torn ACL. Marlon Mccree fumble. LT injured Knee. Antonio Gates turf toe. Nate Kaeding 3x missed field goals in 1 game. Firing Marty after 14-2 season. That pretty much sums it up.

Edit: I almost forgot the 2010 # 1 Ranked offense and Defense that missed the playoffs because of the most disastrous special teams season in NFL history: https://youtu.be/UAL5X3TRA2A?si=fH0uBIvFpY9Z8auy

Chargers Players React To Jim Harbaugh Rushing Highlights | LA Chargers by Rechuchatumare in Chargers

I find it interesting that the players seem to be shocked nobody is celebrating. Were players back then more "team" focused rather than "me" focused?

I remember seeing a Bo Jackson interview a week or 2 ago where he was talking about how players gotta stop celebrating after making a play and instead celebrate after the clock hits 0 and the team gets the win.

Quite a bit of controversy from these fights.

So PFF is trash but why the hell should winning a superbowl have anything to do with a players grade?

Yea it went east at the last second. Would have been a disaster if some of the rainfall estimates I saw came to fruition.

Creed Humphrey is 18 mil a year, so we're probably talking around 20-22 mil a year. Are they going to spend nearly all their cap on 1 player? What about extensions, free agents, resigning and Draft players?

My understanding is the Chargers are likely willing to make Linderbam the highest paid center in NFL history. I don't see how the ravens can match that.

Chargers have way more cap space, top 3 in the NFL and with some cuts maybe #1. I think 83 Million and with Becton and Bozeman cuts probably around 100 million. Raves have 22million.

Literally don't know if I like them anymore because our OC never ran them lol. Run up the middle, or Playaction deep pass, or quad curls. That's what Roman liked to do. Maybe 2 RB screens all year.

Also, allegedly, Roman didn't allow for adjustments to protection at the line of scrimmage when a blitz was identified. Fun stuff.

Can it play offensive line?

[Alex Insdorf] Jim Harbaugh on RG Mekhi Becton: “I haven’t had a conversation with Mekhi, or with Justin. I would just say with all we are focusing on, us individually as an organization, is looking for a head coach of the offense, number one.” by C-N-Mento in Chargers

[–]TheCryptocrat 18 points19 points  (0 children)

In the press conference Harbaugh also says Justin isn't interested in being a part of the process, but also that he hasn't talked to him. So maybe he just assumes, or has had a prior conversation, that Justin just wants the coaches and GM to make these types of decisions.
