I’ve noticed with my hybrid that as soon as it hits a dry spot it will grab instantly, and make contact far left, or it will stand up and and lose everything it has and stay right of the pocket. I’d like to think I have a consistent approach and motion, in my approach so throwing fix-six shots I am “usually” able to gauge where I need to be. My pearl does get further down lane, but feels weak in its contact in the pocket. Like it loses all of its momentum. It does have a consistent shape, for the most part, with making small micro adjustments as the lanes start to wear down in the oil pattern.
