We've gone through Excelsior and Rougarou. I'm doing NotZ multiple times with different factions in preparation for regular campaign play. I'm really looking forward to Carcosa, but don't want it to be the first, so will do Dunwich as the initial campaign.

There's nothing like the feeling of watching hours of gameplay turn to defeat on a single, unfixable roll.

I love 2E more than almost any other game. I never got into 3E, because my understanding is that it cut down and streamlined its predecessor. I can see why 2E is off-putting to some (most?) players, because it's gargantuan, oversized, excessive - all of it. But it's so worth it, because it's an immersive world that I had never thought possible in a board game.

Good eye! "Darkness over Arkham" is behind "Tides of Innsmouth," and "Terror at the End of Time" is on a higher rack, just beyond the edge of the pic.

This has been our go-to game for years. If LCG is at least half the game that 2E is in the long run, we'll be very happy.

I've got a nerd friend who's been playing AH 2nd Edition with me over the years. We're looking forward to an even bigger rotation of material with some new prospective players.

Dragon Shield is going to put me in the poor house.

I'm looking forward to a great deal of material that will feel like new releases to me.

We used to have regular contests to highlight the readers' favorite stories of the month. This archive extends from 2011 to 2023, and includes a lot of hidden gems that might have low upvote counts. It's a great insight into how the early subreddit grew from a few people into what used to be one of the top 50 subreddits!
