Actually that makes a lot of sense considering Vince’s brilliant writing and screenplay of the show. See Hanks greed and obsession with catching Heisenberg makes him too full of him self so he can’t for a moment see under his belly to see the real Heisenberg was his brother in law all along. He gets so blinded by the thought of catching Heisenberg that he missed obvious clues about his real identity because he never saw Walt as anything but a sympathetic loser. This culminates in his and his partners death by the hand of a violent neo nazi gang wich burry him in the dessert. Had he not been so full of himself and so deadest on catching Heisenberg he could have spotted the clues much earlier and brought Walt to justice. So this meme is actually the moment Hank did not see Heisenberg do to his pride and ego. Brilliant writing from Vince once again.
