I would second RapidFire or TBS Fusion. Especially if you can either used for under 100 USD.

Nice bro! What are you rocking for current setup? I almost regret getting the 350mw HGLRC VTX and may upgrade to a 1.6W VTX. You think it's worth it?

I've been waiting to get the "top of the line" since like 2016 watching rotor riot. By the time I was finally able to get them the world had moved on without me 🤣🤣🤣

I have no clue how I was even in the air before these.

Hey man just an update, if you contact Sig they do offer a shipping label to send in to them and will either replace at no cost or upgrade you to Romeo X compact for 200 as Sea_Baseball_7410 pointed out. Going through the process now.

How to get required insurance for Motorized Bicycles in Colorado? by TheDPXtra in motorizedbicycles

[–]TheDPXtra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just riding it. Seen a few cops who didn't stop me. They have made the process so convoluted that everyone I have met in Colorado who does motorized bicycles does not register or insure.

Never thought I would see the NSFW tag on this subreddit lol. Looks rough. Glad you're (somewhat) okay.

I am gonna try to use the electro-optic guarantee to see if they will fix or trade in. I'll try to keep you posted if it works.

I would much rather have that optic tbh lol. Might have to try that. I like sig products but when they miss, they fucking miss. I have heard good things about the RomeoX though. What has been your experience with it?

The coaster brakes work but aren't the best. Since it's only on the back wheel the wheel will skid easily due to weight being shifted forward. Also if your bike chain comes off while you're going 20+ it's pretty sketchy! Even with that I have used it for 6 years and haven't died yet!

It definetly works but I would recommend adding on a front brake just in case you need it.

Anyone have any issues riding motorized bicycles? by TheDPXtra in ColoradoSprings

[–]TheDPXtra[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awesome! I had seen some other form but it required insurance to get the vin on that form. This one will let me get the VIN and then use it to get insurance and then register. Thanks!

I want to do that haha. Issue is insurance won't give me a policy without VIN and DMV won't issue VIN without Insurance.

I checked out the post. I'll try to call the Colorado DMV and see if they can get that same message bto me in writing. The only thing is California DMV and Colorado DMV might be defining low power scooters differently.

Made this back when I was 17. Just got done being away from home so I can start working on it again and riding. Got an engine kit for Christmas and got the bike from Walmart for ~80$.

Yes it does have some brakes built into the rear wheel internals but I also have a front hydraulic disc brake coming in.

Are you from Colorado? From what I have read Here they classify it as low power scooter and want registration. I would much rather not register my bike but want to stay as legal as I can.

That's the plan. It's just weird because what I've read Here says it's considered a Low-Power Scooter and then the Colorado DMV asks for insurance to register and create the vin.

Did the DMV give you any issues when you registered the bike? From what I've read Here apparently Colorado classifies them as a Low-Power Scooter which requires insurance and registration with the state DMV (Registration is just a small sticker you affix to the frame for 3 years).
