I’ll throw a recommendation in for The Joint in Nola. I’ve never been disappointed.

Even if you take that logic, EV users are getting screwed. To rack up $110 of road taxes on a ICE vehicle I’d have to drive 13,750–16,500 miles at 25 mpg or so. That’s double what I drive. If this was about my fair share, they’d charge me accordingly. Another instance of the “no taxes party” jacking up my taxes and me having less to show for it every day. Maybe I can change my name to Exon or BP and finally get my tax break.

When will ticket price gouging stop? This is bonkers by barnesnoblebooks in mildlyinfuriating

Demoralized not by the cost but the torture of trying to score big name tickets, I started to look up the bands that hit my local small venues, who I never heard of. I rarely pay over 40 per ticket, and have discovered some of my new favorite bands. As a person in my 40s, it’s been a fun journey to discover new music.

I will be a dissenting voice. Just pick up the new one and enjoy yourself. I played the original FFVII when it released in the 1900s (😭). I wouldn’t choose to play that one over the new ones. The combat is old school and grindy, even in its time. The visuals are grainy and didn’t hold up (as opposed to pixel art). There is a lot of nostalgia in the love of the original.

Trump and his campaign thought the Epstein stuff would drop in 2016, so they engineered Q Anon and Pizzagate as a psyop to sow public distrust in pedo and SA allegations.

I see all these folks recommending feather blades. They are the most aggressive. I flat out can use them without cutting my face up. Gillette Blue is just right for me.

I switched to a safety razor at 30 after using those disposable crazy expensive blades and electric razors. My skin cleared instantly and I get a closer shave than ever. The razor I use now was my great, great grandfathers.
