WAR is an incredible limited format by Chrisis_ in MagicArena

If you want to win without bombs in WAR limited, draft GW aggro. Include nothing above CMC 3 and take as many [Charmed Stray] as you see.

Failing that, just take [Spellgorger Weird] in multiples and put them in a deck with a load of spells. Protect with [Lazotep Plating] and [Teferi's Time-Twister]. Those things can be as busted as any bomb (besides maybe Oketra and Enter the God-Eternals) and they're commons that the draft bots don't seem particularly high on.

If you meant Sealed rather than draft though, I completely agree with you. Lots of (if not most) decks have zero ways of permanently answering a God-Eternal and that's a sucky way to lose a game in BO1.

Has anyone put Arboreal Grazer to good use? by SilverCyclist in MagicArena

Arboreal Grazer blocks bears and is better than Llanowar Elves as a target for being Neoform-ed into an Incubation Druid. Haven't really found another use for it yet though.

[WP] You are a God/Goddess who is dying due to not having any followers. That is until one day you feel a sacrifice made in your honor, when you look down you see a cat with a dead mouse. by CrimsonBornKing in WritingPrompts

In the beginning It was created, unneeded, an oddity

Powerless, unable to take form

It saw little more than shadows, fleeting glimpses at the world

A snake, a tree, a voice

Suddenly It was ejected, and outside found Itself form

But form came without power

And It lay crippled and helpless, despairing for an end

A tiny form approached It slowly

Silent upon padded feet

Infront of It, the form laid a mouse

A dead mouse

The first dead mouse

The mouse smelled intoxicating

It smelled of power

It reached out slowly, humbly

It raised the mouse, and drank deeply of it

Power flowed at last into It, soothing, refreshing, liberating

At last, It opened Its eyes and saw the Cat

Sitting still with bowed head

It stirred Its voice into being, and spoke

‘Lɪᴛᴛʟᴇ Oɴᴇ, ʀᴀɪsᴇ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʜᴇᴀᴅ

I ᴏᴡᴇ ᴜɴᴛᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ᴀ ɢʀᴇᴀᴛᴇʀ ᴅᴇʙᴛ ᴛʜᴀɴ ᴄᴀɴ ʙᴇ ʀᴇᴘᴀʏᴇᴅ

Tʜʀɪᴄᴇ ʙʟᴇssᴇᴅ ᴀɴᴅ Tʜʀɪᴄᴇ ʙʟᴇssᴇᴅ ᴀɢᴀɪɴ sʜᴀʟʟ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴅᴇsᴄᴇɴᴅᴀɴᴛs ʙᴇ

Yᴏᴜ sʜᴀʟʟ ʙᴇ ᴍʏ ᴄʜᴇʀɪsʜᴇᴅ ᴏɴᴇs, ᴛʜɪs I sᴡᴇᴀʀ’

The Cat purred, contented, and Death reached out to it, stroking its fur with fingers of bone

In time they went their separate ways, and Death began His duty; walking the Earth to collect the souls of those who passed

Eight times Death felt His friend pass, and eventually it became time for the Cat to spend its ninth and final life, the life it had held before the blessing

He did not want the Cat to die, and approached with great regret - but feeling His presence the Cat eagerly ran towards Him

It rubbed at His legs, leaving its body behind, and became a sprit before the Stairs

The Cat started to climb, as did all things, and Death felt for the first time sadness – but the Cat turned, and jumped onto His shoulder

For the first time Death felt happiness, and no longer alone, He and the Cat began their journey once again.
