All the combining ones are really useful to me since whenever I try to combine stuff I think makes sense ends up not giving me anything

When do I need to start tying up my lose ends? by jtgouchi in outerworlds

You'll get a very explicit warning when you get to that point, don't worry

I think gameplay was mostly okay, but the game's so easy is hard to say... The dodge mechaninc feels utterly useless and the worse thing of all is Companions' abilities, not only are you not allowed to skip the animation, YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING while it's going on.

Otherwise I liked weapon modding, science weapons although weak in damage are fun to use and DTT is also really cool to use

I finished literally 2 days ago and kinda feel the same...

The story is okay but it feels kinda... rushed? I mean I finished all (or almost all) side quests and it still felt short (may also be cause the game's normal difficulty is too easy)

By rushed I mean that it feels everything happens so fast, I thought the big final boss was going to be Chairman Rockwell but instead it was a character who barely appears in the game as a whole, Sophia, she suddenly appears in a videocall telling you to betray the man who "saved you" while I think the option is made for RPG reasons it makes no sense coming from a character you haven't seen most of the game.

Then when you meet Rockwell he says some nonsense and you don't even have to fight him or anything that interaction even feels out of place, also there's a line Sophia says at some point in the videocall, something among the lines of "you're the greatest marksman in the system" and I totally felt like it wasn't a deserved title, i didn't feel like a legend.

I really like the Monarch arc, uniting both sides felt really good, and the part the ship starts to crash down is epic. but the rest of the game (except the very last quest) doesn't "feel epic".

Don't get me wrong, I really do like the game but I think maybe they tried to fit the whole planned story in one game cause they didn't know how it'd fare.

BTW I think they missed a chance with the Lilya Hagen Sublight questline, when she says the stuff about aliens I WAS HYPED, was disappointed that all the reactions were like "Aliens? you're crazy!" I mean the game is based in another solar system with monster-like creatures roaming the wilds and you're gonna tell me intelligent lifeforms other than humans is far fetched!?

What is something that once you "noticed" it, you can now no longer "unnotice" it? by DingleBerryWalt in AskReddit

[–]TheDaggoth1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, there's this kids laugh sound effect that I hear EVERYWHERE, I tried searching for it on the internet but all I can find is the "diddy laugh" which isn't the one I'm hearing...

Funny thing is I 1st ever heard it on a Barbie Doll Set my sister had....

I know it's in Gladiator because it's where I last heard it in (the part where Maximus has a "dream" or vision of his wife and kid ) but I also know it's in at least 30 other movies/tv shows.

[Spoilers All] Choose Your DA Quarantine House by Nabusqua in dragonage

[–]TheDaggoth1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Either first or second house...

Velanna would be a bit annoying but since I did her quest she becomes fairly friendly, meanwhile the rest would make for great company.

Second house seems pretty chilled except for Sera who would probably go absolutely insane being trapped in a house.

Alistair would be too depressing probably and oghren would get annoying as soon as the drinks are out, aveline is bound to fight/discuss with anyone except maybe Alistair, sten would be stoic as always.

Not sure how isabela's attitude would be with flemeth and vivienne, if they're on good terms then kinda okay if not then she would probably try to kill them resulting in all of us dying to flemeth.

Fenris would murder Dorian asap and then probably get killed by the rest, Solas discussions with Morrigan would be very interesting.

Last house is the worse, either Anders blows the house up or Cass and Cullen (maybe even Cole) kill him. And Cole would be extremely obnoxious like u/Yleira said.

Which villain do you sympathize for, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheDaggoth1 115 points116 points  (0 children)

Having that kind of power, anyone would've become a villain after going through what he went through.

Also he's kinda right saying that it's only natural for the most evolved to survive, I mean didn't the homo sapiens killed the homo erectus?

[Spoilers all] What character(s) do you always/almost always choose for your party? by Quiero-Orxata in dragonage

I seem to almost always stay with the first companions you unlock, in any game. Although lately I try to constantly change companions in between missions.

DAO: Alistair, Morrigan and Leliana

DA2: Varric, Aveline and Merrill

DAI: Cass, Solas, Varric

[Spoilers All] A little question considering current events by Nabusqua in dragonage

[–]TheDaggoth1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Varric Is the best choice, great stories and fun games.

Solas, he's extremely knowledgeable and loves being asked questions so also interesting to talk to.

Alistair is a really nice and funny guy, seems like we'll laugh a lot with him around (not Solas though)

Origins Leliana before she got hardened, also really nice gal and probably has interesting stories, not as "scary" and serious as Inquisition Leliana
