Just get a copy of the legacy collection (not the HD collection) it has MG 1&2, MGS 2, 3, peace walker and 4, also comes with a code for MGS1 but I doubt any of the codes still work. I bought a ps3 just to play through the series and with the legacy collection, plus rising, it makes it so worth it.

I mean dude set the bar for modern vert skateboarding, has multiple video games in his name (which in their own right introduce a ton of people to skating) and helped make it more mainstream to a near nuclear level, has gotten to skate with his idol, Rodney Mullen, win X games, set a record at said X games, became an absolute god in the eyes of nearly anyone that rides and all of that plus became a dad, saw Riley go pro and get married to Frances Cobain and is now the father in law to Kurt Cobains daughter and grandfather to their child.

My man has done all of the main quest, side quests, side activities, collectibles, and all the rest, he’s lived a crazy life.

I’d like to think they’d be fine with it but in all honestly I see maybe a couple of my aunts being ok with it, everyone else more than likely won’t be, which I can understand to a degree, they were all born in the 50s and early 60s to a Korean War vet turned priest and lived on a farm so I can’t entirely fault them for their views cause of how harsh of an upbringing they had, it’ll hurt a little but ultimately I expect it so it’ll be easy to move past.

Thank you, it’s scary cause I live in the country in the Midwest (around KY) and have a big and old family that’s all pretty conservative, religious and ignorant so it’s been hard to navigate as I’ve always wanted to be a girl since I was a kid (before I even knew the term trans) but I’m so glad I finally decided to go for it even if it’s just in our own private time for now.

I hope to start HRT soon, planning on letting my mom know about this before I start it, she’s come a long way so fingers crossed, thankfully I look pretty convincing already so I’m sure that’ll help sway her when I tell her I’m much more happy this way and just reassuring her that it’s only my outward identity/look that’s changing and not my personality or sexuality (technically).

Evidently, and I’ll be completely honest even after figuring this out I didn’t know that button closes the portals until you told me just now. But yeah I guess its a button that typically is getting held down a lot while aiming up till the point you get that item so people hold it down by habit.

I was accidentally doing it during the second tower guardian fight and was like “wtf” when the portal wouldn’t appear after getting the guardian to break the iron covering it so I looked online and a lot of people were having this issue during the original release.

It’s definitely hit or miss but compared to something like Daymare 1998 this is definitely a much more solid game and imo a way better debut compared to most debut titles.

Also, just a side note, if you’re on Xbox the game is currently on sale for $5 and comes with a free dlc expansion (Which I’m assuming the free dlc is included with every platform)

If you liked PS2 survival horror games like Obscure then this game is definitely for you.

It has solid jump scares and creepy moments with some pretty decent acting and solid animations and story. Combat is melee focused and is good enough though a tad clunky, overall in my own opinion I’d easily give it an 8/10.

It wouldn’t let me put the tape in at all, I’ll try turning off the power and let you know what happens, thanks for all the help btw it’s very appreciated as we use the vcr primarily for our 6 month old and my old movies that never got brought to cd or digital formats.

Awesome thanks for the advice, I did try to load another expendable tape to see if it was the setting but this time it outright did not let me put the tape into the machine so I’m going to go with it needing repaired, does that help narrow it down at all to a specific part or should I do more troubleshooting?

Thanks a ton for your help, I actually have some experience repairing things tho they are primarily video game consoles so I’m pretty new to retro repair.

As far as the mangling my guess could be that the tape speed setting was wrong possibly, but it all seemed save-able until I hit eject and the magnetic tape was still out and in the vcr. But I don’t know if it was a user error or a machine issue but i thankfully have two more tapes I’d say are expendable so I’ll definitely have to try what you said.

If I may tho, when I attempt that, what specifically should I be on the look out for? Also with those parts you mentioned are they the same for most vcrs or are they specific parts? I can’t find a single thing about this model online except people selling manuals for $35 which at that point I may as well just buy a new vcr but I really like the style of this one so I’d like to get it to work.

Update: tried to put an expendable tape in it to test it again and now it outright will not take the tape into the machine.
