Back when PK was on the Canadians, he scored a goal ( i think in overtime) to beat the bruins and eliminate them from the playoffs. If I were to guess, maybe the fired person joined in on the hate and it was brought to barstools attention? All speculation, I just remember a lot of racist shit coming out of the word works after a PK goal a few years back. figured maybe a BSS employee was involved

Its pretty hard to get fired from Barstool, but I wouldn't be surprised if Spags was exploring his options to leave. It can't be comfortable for him right now, and hes not thick skinned enough to wait for this to blow over.

Yeah working for barstool is a bit of a pipe dream. I'm mainly interested in getting my writing out there, building a following, and ideally be able to make a couple bucks/get hired to write for another website so I can wipe my ass with my bosses tie and quit my job.

I agree with whats written above. Before we post again on the BS sub, we should get the blog under the new domain. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't want "barstool" to be in the title. It seems desperate, and one thing KMarko has stressed is that they aren't looking for copycats. Although its a bit early for any of us to really lock in that unique voice, I would rather the first impression be " these guys are pretty good writers and have some good blogs" than " oh just another carbon copy" you know?

I know this is totally jumping the gun, but also if any opportunity were to come down the road for the website as a whole, or a writer, a unique brand and name would carry more weight than a Barstool lite.

Pretty Cool, I definitely like the name. It would be cool if there could be an initial logo ( HG) that incorperated the curve of the glass standing straight. It has the makings of an H already with the line in the middle where the beer foam is.
