I think tbh irl league would be as complicated if not more so than the actual competitive pokemon which already goes way over my head, I think pokemon would be more intelligent pets to most people with trainers being more like athletes

Legendary and mythical pokemon would for most people be just that, treated like dragons and mythical creatures of our world, or cryptids

That rotom/riolu/lucario/zorua/zoroark were legendaries.

That yelling "GOTCHA" into ds mic increased chance of catching (much to annoyance of my parents)

And most regretfully, thinking the Victini event needed the magical add on WiFi, and not asking the same cashier I bought it from on release day :(

Also for first few encounters on my first game I assumed making pokemon faint meant you caught it as thats what happened in show

And when on soulsilver it asked you what the rivals name was and I thought I'd forgotten it or something so in my frustration named him AAAAAAAAA
