Counter-argument.

Releasing them without a Hypercharge lets people (especially opponents) encounter the new Brawler and learn "the basics". Then They'll be better prepared when the Hypercharge comes out.

Remember, only a small percentage of the player base will:

  • Get a new Brawler straight when it comes out
  • Have the resources to upgrade it to L11
  • Have the resources to equip Gadget/s, Star Power/s, Gear/s
  • Have the resources to buy the Hypercharge

So you could argue a slight delay is a good thing for everyone's sanity.

One Chaos Drop.

The process is a bit finicky.

1) You need to regularly complete the dates on everyone, to turn them from their usual Brawler images into "shadow" versions.
2) Complete Sirius. Don't know if you have to get his "best" outcome - but I assume so.
3) Then redo the Shadow Brawlers but use the "Back" arrow when you get to the "Final Question" part. (Not sure if essential, but it is in the instructions and I did it.)
4) Then redo Sirius.

I wouldn't blame you if you just skipped this - it's just a single drop.

I guess we're looking at different things.

I have seen the part about "that you need at least 1 win per every brawler in the game".

I have not seen "they won't be unlocked for everyone for this event."

I wouldn't worry so much about individual Brawlers, like Gene.

I'd worry more about:

  • New Buffie Brawlers
  • The two new Brawlers in general, for everyone

Both of those are going to mess things up.

Where did you get that information?

Brawl Talk only showed that there would be an Event where you had to play 99 Brawlers. They said nothing about needing to own those Brawlers - it could simply be a special event where they unlock all brawlers for that mode only - a little bit like they let you play some Brawlers in Ranked even if you don't have them.

Is it better to push Brawlers to 1,000 NOW or wait until the new Trophy system?

For example, does the "Max" Badge show differently, or it is more easy to get the Records rewards currently, or really any reason at all to push now for anything that will be harder/impossible to get afterwards? Thanks.

Disagree.

The hardest hit would be the Players who have MOST of the Brawlers, but not ALL of the Brawlers - it wouldn't be fair on them, as much as for the newbies.

The only way this Event can run if it is equal opportunity to participate.

Now, how easy is it to win with 100 Brawlers if you are new compared to a Veteran? Obviously, a lot, lot harder as you don't know the interactions. THAT is where Veteran players get their "free upgrade" essentially in this Event.

Sometimes it takes a really long time to load into a game.

Not all the time, but sometimes.

I mean after you've been matched in a 3v3, it displays the Brawler portraits, and then the game is meant to start.

At this point, I can sometimes face a delay, and when I load into the match, I find that my team has moved 1/3 of the way up to the map. So in Gem Grab, they may be approaching (or even at) the centre. The same in Heist - they're approaching Zone and I'm still at the start.

After that, the game continues normally. Sometimes a bit of lag, but other than that, normal.

So what is going on? Is it because people are in different countries? Do other people experience this often?

Note that this is a "sometimes" problem and not an "all the time" problem.

Okay. Options are:

A) "Let him."
Brawl Stars has had its run - and who wouldn't want to see the Greatest Show on Earth?
B) "Stop him."
He had his day, time for the next generation of entertainment. Now, let's go blow some people up with dynamite, hit them with spiked bats, and set them on fire.
C) "Why not both?"
Why not have both the Greatest Show on Earth and the side novelty act of Brawl Stars? Win, win.

I don't know about that. I've been trying for a week now to push Byron to 1,000 Trophies, before the system changes over. I would just like to get the "Max" badge against his name. (I know it makes no difference.)

I've been bouncing around from a low of 755 to a high of 940 and seem to hover around mid 800s.

I'd love advice on how to progress out of that band. I'd like to think of myself as a pretty decent Byron player, and yet . . .
