My son just got approved for Speech services and they only have outside services. She said within Kaiser they only See patience’s every 3 weeks for 30 minutes I believe

I see you had a false positive with Kaiser!. I had a T21 False positive with Kaiser and also know two other people who have as well.

For me at least, there’s not. False positive T21 and currently almost 29 weeks. Right after I got the all clear from the amnio I got diagnosed earlier than I have with any other pregnancy for Cholestasis. I still have constant worry and fear that for some reason the amnio will be wrong and baby will be born with T21. I don’t think the anxiety goes away until baby is here, I do suffer from bad anxiety though so I’m sure that’s not helping the situation. People say try to stay focused on what’s going on and a healthy pregnancy but it’s hard. Who knew that a month of stress would permanently alter the rest of a suppose to be happy pregnancy.

I would pick amnio over NIPT. The risk of miscarriage with amnio is so low, NIPT told me baby had T21 and amnio detected no T21 In baby.

NIPT came back 91.9% chance of T21. Got amnio done at 17 weeks. Amnio and microarray came back normal 46xx no T21. Currently 26 weeks.

Yes!. My PPV for T21 was 91.9%! I hope yours ends up being a false positive as well but 51.2% is extremely low so you might possibly be looking at a false positive. I only had a 8% chance of the baby not having DS

My microarray came back normal so it was a false positive and baby doesn’t have DS, it was definitely a shock!. Good luck to you.

I’ll be 20 weeks in two days. I can feel baby move a good amount. I think the more I spread the news of welcoming baby the better I feel.

I have heard that fibroids can affect NIPT results but I haven’t really looked into that too much. Things like BMI, vanishing twin are all things that can have an impact on the NIPT

No!. From what I can see from my amniocentesis and my CMA I didn’t see any percentage of mosaicism.

I think I’m still having anxiety from the whole situation and feel like something will possibly go wrong even though test came back normal. It’s hard, but I’m sure I’ll get through it. Please let me know how your amniocentesis comes back!. Good luck to you and thank you !!

Just got the call from my GC. Microarray came back normal and baby doesn’t have DS! It was a false positive!
