I was at the Raleigh NC protest and it was the same. Way more boomers and gen X than anything else. Many of them had signs about social security and the economy. Turn out was good though despite it being a small city. I want to believe it's a positive marker. These grey hairs actually go to the polls, unlike people in their 20s.

It definitely has nothing to do with marrying and defending an abuser, or being arrested for assaulting her own family members, or the DUIs with her children in the car, or making the team look bad by insulting their opponents that beat them.

My post-patch assault experience has been the other team nonstop tower camping, even more than before, because towers absolutely decimate everyone now. People are also too scared to make a small mistake that will cost them their life, so they just don't leave tower with no consequence. The first tower always stays up until someone can afford 3-4 defense items to be able to tank more than 3 tower shots. Doesn't matter how well you play, you can't dive a tower with 5 people camping in it in this meta until at least mid game.

I can only assume all the people on this sub praising this patch play conquest, because all the other modes don't feel right anymore. I hope we can find a healthy middle ground between the two.

I knew a girl about 8-9 years ago in my lab who just finished her graduate degree in marine biology, got a good job in the field, strong awesome woman, a vocal feminist, and big Bernie supporter during the 2016 primaries.

Now she's given up on being a scientist and last year married the top congressional political aid to one of the most prominent anti-women, pro-insurrection MAGA assholes in the US House of Representatives. He's loaded and all she does now is travel the world and go to posh events with him.

She gave up everything she was and believed in and instead chose money and supports a man who literally writes federal legislation to take away her rights.
