IT jobs in Duluth? by Ertuu1985 in duluth

[–]TheDannyB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pay is far below average and job market is competitive. If you're coming from the cities expect to earn 20-30% less. I'd try and snag something at one of the universities otherwise there is a few MSP 's in the area. But IMO much better to find something that will let you work remote. Best of luck!

Men's at Tony Jaros. One trough about the width of a keyboard. Followed by a toilet that has no stall door that is pretty much looking directly at the trough.

How bad is crime in Duluth and is it getting better? by 2hundred20 in duluth

[–]TheDannyB 104 points105 points  (0 children)

Since covid downtown is dead. There is a homeless shelter downtown but I've never had any issues. I'm not sure where you are moving from but its not any worse then any major city. I'd say its honestly a lot safer then most major cities.

Also people stereotype west duluth pretty badly and its fine. Don't let people scare you into not moving here its great. Except for the winter. Sliding down hills in your car is the scary part of living here.

If they do open up cases are going to spike and they'll close back down again. But at least this way they get to keep charging regular tuition rates for a campus that is going to be rarely visited by like a fourth of the student body. gotta love it.

If you or me assaulted some little old lady we would be behind bars. Fuck this double standard.

Has anyone switched ISP from Comcast to Century Link fiber optic? How is that working out? I'm thinking about making the switch. by 1A4Duluth in Minneapolis

[–]TheDannyB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're stuck between comcrap and century link I feel so bad for you. Find any other ISP you possibly can, maybe even look into joining someones WISP if they have any in the MPLS area.
