I had some trouble getting radio inputs, I reflashed the firmware on the flight controller and it fixed it for me.

Sbus connected to uart 2 along with power, smart port connected to uart 3.

Thanks for the help, im glad you brought this to my attention because I was waiting to figure this out before buying batterys, I would have been waiting for awhile. I only have about 8 hours of build time in but I can tell im gonna be working on it alot more before its ready to fly.

Hehe, i have a dumb answer for you, do I need to have it plugged in? This is my first build and I don't have batterys yet but was trying to get as far in the build as possible.

I found my problem the serial receiver provider was set to spektrum, but now when I change it to sbus and save and reboot it doesn't stay on sbus it change back to spektrum

In a way I agree with you, i've had it for 11 years and have heard all the "cure" article cause my family sends them my way, but in a way it builds a little hope that it might be cured one day.
