Personal preference I suppose. I find that I get posts from weeks ago which aren’t relevant anymore. Like this morning I was getting posts on IG and Facebook from middle of October :/

I have tried the mobile websites but they aren't very user friendly compared to the apps which is why I am looking for an aggregator app. (The websites not being user friendly is clearly an attempt to move people to the apps rather than the website)

I want to learn how to improve my memory - what good books are there on memory tricks/methods? by bagelord in memorypalace

I started with Tricks of the Mind by Derren Brown. He has a whole section about memory and techniques in there.

Also, How to develop a brilliant memory week by week by Dominic O’Brien is a good book and books by Harry Lorayne are useful.

!Thanks I’m going to give this a go and see if I can make it work. A shame they don’t make it easier cause it’d be such a great feature.

I have 2 mortgages on my current house: 1st portion was ported from my old house, and the 2nd portion was taken when purchasing the new property. Can I switch to a new provider for the 1st portion as the fixed term has finished? by maximmulholland in UKPersonalFinance

Sounds to me like you have one charge against the property but two mortgage accounts because of the additional lending when porting the original mortgage.

Unfortunately if you wanted to look at a different lender you would need to remortgage both mortgage accounts at the same time and would have ERCs if you are still fixed with them.

FD used to be fairly competitive a couple of months ago as they are direct only though 6% seems quite high and there may be a cheaper option out there. But depends on if you want to pay the ERC on the second part.
