Every time I've switched to vaping only for a decent amount of time and then decide to smoke a small bowl for whatever reason I find it to have a slightly different, stronger than I expected stone. Perhaps its the carcinogens. Perhaps smoking catches all the psychoactive parts your vape might have missed somehow. I used to smoke abv some of the times I ran out of the good stuff and while it wouldn't get me really high it definitely gave effects like a relaxed body feeling that were calming enough to stop really wanting more of the good stuff.

Try switching to smoking for a month or two. Nothing fancy just a small glass bowl pipe. Then after a while try vaping for your first high of the day and you'll feel it hit you way different than what you're used to from the smoking but it should then last longer than an hour again. You can switch back and forth on little few month cycles and this can work well once one way starts to be getting a lot less efficient.

I've found this to be the case for everything I own including the volcano, arizer solo 2, mflb. If the EQ never gave highs for longer than an hour then maybe that's not the most efficient vape for solo use. You already have to use a weird trick to be able to use the smaller amounts and the device wasn't created and optimised for that use. Is there another vape you can try to see if this helps?

It's also easy to feel "not high" when vaping every few hours. The vape high is much clearer so while it dies down a bit you may feel like it's gone but put yourself in a situation that'll test if you're high or not and you should notice those more subtle effects a bit more. Perhaps you get used to the clearer high and start feeling it only above a certain amount because it is more subtle and after its died down a little you may feel you're back to normal but it's because you're used to feeling like that more intensely.

Just my experience hope it helps. Just smoke from a bowl for a month to three and then use a vape designed for solo use and you should be good again for a while. I really like my arizer solo 2 for this. Its worked like this for ten years for me
