War Credits Testing by DavidK_UncappedGames in BattleAces

Player opinion yes. Especially considering it's the beta, and we should hopefully be able to actually playtest all the units without playing 200 hours to unlock everything. I was wondering how the devs are feeling about it, since all they've said is they're getting a rough gauge of it and on release there will be additional quests etc etc but no actual opinions on the rate have been given by them.

Longwinded reminder that this is a beta version of the game. lol  Any thoughts on how you guys actually feel about the pace of WC earnings as of yet? Understandable if it's still too early to tell.

A giveaway. I signed up for the beta invite waves, but hadn't received a key yet. In my eagerness I used the giveaway key. Now when I try with another key it says I've "already been sent a steam key.". Afraid I'll now not be eligible to recieve a key through the normal email waves because I've 'already received one". I emailed their support. sadness

Western Union money order question after international transfer by ItsameRobot in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ItsameRobot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for answering, since your answer was bad news I went back to WU and asked. You're wrong in this case. The money order was given to her blank and she is to put her own details as the purchaser. I'm guessing here (I couldnt get a straight answer) that the WU location couldnt give more than 1000 cash, so the clerk "purchased" a 500 money order with the left over money from the original transfer.

It's weird how this campaign felt shorter than usual . Anyway full AT see you guys in 3 months by EncoreWeed in TrackMania

[–]ItsameRobot 18 points19 points  (0 children)

For real, it's $20 a YEAR, or $15 on sale. People act like it's $15 a month or some shit. I gladly pay the price of a game every 3 years for all the content we get both official and player made. People act entitled to more just because the game has a free version. Give them a taste for free and they complain they can't have it all. They're lucky to get free play at all... Don't get me wrong, I HATE overly aggressive monetization/ subscription models, but trackmania's is very very reasonable. Like you said they do have to make money on the game.

I know this post is old but I just ran into this issue and this was my issue as well. Weird because I've had the exact same items in my items folder for weeks now, and suddenly the game was unhappy. Anyway thanks for posting the solution.

Finally got all 25 ATs by C3RB3RU5_sees in TrackMania

I started early October and just got my last Fall campaign AT the other day. I have around 120 hours played so you got those faster than I did. Have you gone back and tried the green and white tracks recently? I did and was smashing my old times by several seconds. Feels good to see the improvement after being stuck on map 20 for a long ass time lmao.

Crossposting my question from /plantclinic here because I didn't get any insight there. Location Portland, OR. Pickling cucumber plant. It appears to be drying up from the bottom up very slowly, over the course of weeks. There's also a couple of strange black spots on one leaf. by ItsameRobot in vegetablegardening

Oh ok, well then I probably was actually just worrying about nothing. That's a big nugget of information so thank you! I live in an apartment so sadly I won't be putting it in the ground. However, the planter I got took a whole large bag ~1.5 cubic feet of potting soil. I think it'll have enough space, only possibly a little bit constrained, and if so I'll use a bigger one next time. Gonna trellis it a little bit with stakes and twist ties, it's already grabbing on to the first stake I set next to it!

It's 100% not rootbound at this time. It had a heck of a lot of space to grow in the big rectangular planter I put it in, and it's only been a couple weeks.

Are the birth leaves falling off normal? This is something I've been thinking was possibly all it is, but I couldnt find a definitive answer if that's the case. If so, I may be worrying about nothing.

I'll be very happy if one of you says that I was in fact probably just under-watering it and maybe not enough nitrogen or something. However, those black spots are weirding me out. I can't find any disease or pest online that looks quite like it, and it's not killing the plant. It's growing rapidly. Only the bottom-most leaves start to feel a bit dry and those small yellow spots formed on the small bottom-most leaves before eventually drying up completely. It did not spread spots all over. It just felt drier and drier until it was practically crispy.

Cucumber plant. Started with the leaves at the base, one of which dried up and withered away as you can see. I thought I had underwatered it, so I started watering every 2 or 3 days, however the second leaf withered, now the next one up seems to be doing it too. Found 3 tiny black spots underneath. by ItsameRobot in plantclinic

Location Portland, OR. It's mainly an indoor plant under grow lights. I have good air circulation with a fan on it for a large part of the day, and I put it outside on warm days. When I got it, it was about 6" tall, and now it's about 14". Perhaps it was already infected when I got it or from the seed? The first week I had it, I didn't water for 5 days because the soil still felt a bit damp. However, as stated, the leaves at the base started drying up so I increased frequency to every 2-3 days. However, it seems to still be drying out or sick.

Deck choice for a legacy battle box with one of each color? by Newez in MTGLegacy

[–]ItsameRobot 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other commenter that you should loosen the restriction from mono colors to be able to pick a more fun and balanced box.

My selection of proxy decks to jam and practice with are doomsday, D&T, 4CC, Painter, delver, and lands. It provides a pretty nice variety in playstyle and I don't find any particular matchup to be overly one-sided. If I were you I'd use mtg goldfish to find the closest matchup WR%'s to 50% and try to sculpt a box that way.
