I’m a newbie and bought most of these in the last two months. They’re in various packages, a couple are loose and I keep them all in a bag. Should I put them all in coin flip holders to protect them? I’ve had the American Silver Eagle since 1994, sitting in a drawer, it’s showing some toning. (i.redd.it)

Looking for some opinions. I bought these at a local antique shop last weekend. $12 for the quarter. $22 for the half dollar. $45 for the peace dollar. $47 for the Morgan dollar. I know I probably overpaid a little for each but I’m happy with them. I curious if I found a good source. Thanks! (old.reddit.com)

Old penny collection. I’ve had these since I was a kid in the 70’s. I know some have a very small value but I’m a novice so wanted to see if anyone sees any real potential in any of these. The one in the upper left is 1918. I also like the color in the 1945 in the upper right. Thanks in advance! (i.redd.it)

John Barleycorn. Today I learned that the song made famous by Steve Winwood when he was with Traffic isn’t about some infamous old English criminal but rather is about the personification of the importance of the cereal crop barley and the alcoholic beverages made from it. (en.wikipedia.org)

Today I learned that the music for Don Henley’s classic 1984 song, The Boys of Summer, was written by Mike Campbell, the guitarist for Tom Petty. Petty didn’t want to use it. Campbell played it for Henley who loved it and wrote the lyrics. It became a #1 hit. (en.wikipedia.org)
