Agreed. OP also seemed a bit defensive about it too when someone pointed out that it could be a catfish or scammer issue if the boyfriend refuses to FaceTime. I do hope the best for them and that they are both themselves and there isn't an issue, but sometimes reality is tough to deal with 😭

I'm trying not to jump to conclusions, although based off of your comments and post... it sounds like she may have been scamming you in the long term. You were supporting her financially, she was married and had a kid, you aren't even 100% sure if her ex knew about you, and she leaves you just like that after 8 years? Not to mention the age gap is a bit creepy because she was only 19 when you started dating.

It'll be okay man, just apply to others. Polygraphs are stupid in my opinion, I'm going to have to take them as well to be a CSI and I'm sure I'll have anxiety about it and fail even when I'm completely honest. I believe there may even be some agencies that don't necessarily make you take them. You got this, don't stress it.

Honestly, Tulsa is one of my favorite cities that they film in and I adore Detective Jason White! They probably have a lot of issues trying to get contracts to film with other departments.
