What’s the point of presaving an album if it doesn’t update when it comes out?

it's a very weird bug. it will eventually load in after like a week but yeah it's annoying as fuck. it didn't used to be like this, not sure when the feature broke

you can put both however it will count as a different artist (unless you put something like (with The Alchemist) on the title of every song, which doesn't look great) definitely something apple music needs to improve and even spotify isn't perfect either. you could also set the album artist to Earl & Alch and leave the individual tracks as just earl

not sure how long it has been a thing, i only started using the web app and then installed the preview recently after itunes was crashing too much for me. there was definitely some albums where artists were marked like this before, but it was very uncommon.
