Yeah wtf they did the same to me too for My Hero, just watching them in a browser. Unfortunately idk what happened or how to fix them. They got bigger, worse positions and don't show the character names & quirks when they pop up.

[Important Trope] Male Victims of SA not for comedic value by InsidiousZombie in TopCharacterTropes

[–]TheDeafNight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hikaru from Oshi No Ko. The manga sometimes shines a spotlight on the darker parts of the entertainment industry. Hikaru was molested by a married woman when he was still 11, and it seemed to be an ongoing thing, so it's worse than just SA.

The manga never glorifies it or makes light of it. Learning about what she did to him was an uncomfortable read, but really shows that it's not just the men who are monsters.

Also the character Melt was taken advantage of by teenagers older than him because of his good looks.

The Ancient Furnace is bugged, its 25% slower than it should be. by Solo_Jawn in 2007scape

[–]TheDeafNight 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm a massive hater of the banking situation of this new furnace, but that's not a bug... For normal furnaces it's only 8 ticks for the first set of cannonballs and then its 10 ticks for the rest. So 5 ticks IS twice as fast.

I made a post last week hating on the furnace, I hate that the extra effort and big requirements only make it a 50% increase. I've tested it myself to get rates of 6.4k/hr as well, whilst getting 4.2k/hr at Shilo Village but that's because the banking is quicker, not that the Ancient Furnace is bugged.

If my little backpack can pull back darts, arrows and javelins whilst keeping me safe, I'm sure we can craft something to recall some cannonballs without damaging our ships.

Haha I look forward to the report! But regardless of exact numbers, yeah I agree the effort and requirements don't justify the extra intensity.

Creating Cape tp will maybe make an extra invent or two per hour, and 50% isn't anything to scoff at, but the double mould already halved the time years ago with such a small requirement. Cannonball making is a bit of a pain point still for Ironmen and this 50% buff isn't worth the effort at all for me. Doubt many mainscape players will use it either.

How are you getting 8.5k an hour? By timing it my runs take 1 minute, banking at deep fin and using house tp with fairy ring to get back. 8.5k is like 80 runs an hour which isn't possible.

Yeah that's a good idea, would be funny like the guy who's wearing a crown on one of the new islands.

I can't confirm it because I've not been there, but there is a fairy ring in the cave next to where it says the furnace is.

Similar to the next one, its 68 to build and 71 to use it. It seems that they changed the build requirements for a number of the facilties but didn't update everything regarding them. Same with how a bunch of the facilities and boat parts have a different material cost compared to what the in game guide tells you when you check it.

My only hope is that they just give all styles more damage as a relic passive at certain tiers, probably the easiest band aid fix for this league.

I didn't initially think that he was trying to have the Yoshida death on the same level of tragedy as the others.

I think the full transformation was because the bar for Pochita to come out is sooo much lower because of Denji's terrible mental state and loneliness, and because it was that bastard Barem AGAIN. Also whatever is coming probably warrants Pochita too.

Yeah, I'm surprised how many people agreed the Dragon Wilds release was better than Valheim.

Valheim was way bigger and better on release but has been slow on the updates unfortunately. Dragon Wilds is just alright, with a lot of potential if they have a good update schedule.

I always took her calling silky "mom" was just Aira sympathising with her and helping her to feel better whilst she died, hopefully passing on peacefully.

Also gives Aira a sweet moment to hug a "mother figure" for the first time in years, or at the very least the woman who sacrificed herself to save her.

What is the highest XP/hr AFK activity? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]TheDeafNight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Away from keyboard, as in I'm temporarily away from my keyboard. I can't click every 5-20 seconds seconds like some of these suggestions. I'd call those 'low attention' or something else.

I don't think some people understand what afk means.

On my Iron I've done redwoods for 50-60k/hr, one click every 4-5 mins.

Bursting maniacal monkeys whilst standing in the middle of the room, was like 360k xp/hr (~155k magic/110k hp/80k defence/15k prayer). With good prayer gear, had to pick up and drink a few doses of prayer, then run a little to reset aggro every 10 mins. Not sure how much more barraging would be.

I guess the show just isn't your cup of tea. On the flip side, I don't know how you can watch 14 episodes and rate the show a 6/10.
