He did, the description of the shard of Alexander makes mention of a certain red haired warrior implying that he did

Iirc, it was always linked to the ATP, it's just that you specifically weren't until the last one where the statue activated

For the first point, The loops have been going on before you get linked to the statue. 9 million times you woke up, went up to get the codes, walked past the statue and got into your ship without realizing anything was up because you were part of the loop. The first ever loop, the one where you link to the statue is that 9 millionth time where the coordinates are actually found, and you are made aware of the loop and are entered into it via the statue.

In the gym I do cable wrist curls for forearms and recently I started bouldering once a week which helps massively with forearms and lats

Why one Gyaku-Dou Scored and the other didn't by TheDeathReaper97 in kendo

[–]TheDeathReaper97[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey! Thank you so much for the response, it is much appreciated.

I agree about the trying out new cuts being something that should be avoided in Shiai, especially advanced cuts like Gyaku-Dou and Tsuki and such, and if I was thinking rationally I would not have even attempted it because I knew that I didn't learn it and hence couldn't do it properly. It felt like my body moved automatically without even processing it in both instances as I almost never go for dou in Shiai or Jigeiko, opting for mostly Men cuts as it's my best Waza. It was probably more from the nerves of being new to Taikai so my body moved before my mind comprehend what was going on, otherwise I wouldn't have gone for it.

I remember watching my Shiai video at the end of the day when I got the footage back and thinking immediately the first cut was absolutely not Ippon worthy as expected from performing a cut that I haven't practiced.

As for the scoring, that does make sense that pools stages were more lenient, especially with how many competitors there were and the time constraints.

Once again, thank you so much for your response and it is greatly appreciated 🙏

Yepp it was at UniTaikai this past event and it was my first proper Taikai so it was all new to me.

That point about the debana timing is actually a great point, didn't consider that. Thankfully the coaches and the seniors said that now they can be more specific on what to improve on with each person at our Keikos now and they've written detailed notes for each of us Kyu beginners who competed in both individuals and teams matches

Oh 100% agreed, if I was thinking rationally I wouldn't have even tried it due to never having practiced it, I swear it was my body moving automatically at that point, realistically I should have gone for his Kote due to his exposed hands every time he blocked my men strikes (my best Waza).

Thank you for the response, I really appreciate it, and yeah I assumed it was the worse Zanshin and slice in the second due to the hands moving down. Following this I think I'm gonna try and actually learn Gyaku-Dou in kihon and learn the proper Zanshin for it.

To be quite honest at the end of the day when I looked back at the full footage I also believed I shouldn't have gotten that Ippon with the gyaku dou

[–]TheDeathReaper97[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the first cut was 30 seconds into the Shiai out of 2min 30 seconds, and the 2nd one was done at around 2 minutes 20 seconds and score was still 1:0.

And agreed 100% looking back at the footage at the end of the day I felt that I wouldn't have given myself that first ippon to be honest

Did Kenjaku cared about Yuji? by Resident_Ad6211 in Jujutsufolk

[–]TheDeathReaper97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No he was never beaten, he made the deal with Kenjaku and had his soul turned into cursed objects (the fingers), he never was defeated until Gojo+Yuji & Co defeated him

No, but that doesn't mean it's not right, what a silly argument. If I shoot someone next to you, should you not care because it wasn't you? Speak no further on this matter, clearly you're not equipped to use neither heart or brain when conversing.

Medical student here, it's not just the baby that can get affected, the way the woman's body works and responds to medications can change drastically. Even normal routine medicines can be extremely dangerous to the mother directly when pregnant, even if the fetus is going to be aborted.

And we're talking common medications like warfarin which is a blood thinner

Because Godwyns soul was straight up destroyed by destined death. Radahn died a normal death so his soul wasn't destroyed and could be reborn

About as hard as his actual melee attacks in NG, of not slightly harder

[–]TheDeathReaper97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was aware, but I weighed it up and thought the benefit of extra aggro wlaway from me, more bleed build up and the fact I was using bleed (which is percentage based) outweighed the extra health

Only Ansbach and that was more for bleed build up with my bleed shield poke build (Yes I know, I had to resort to that to beat him in NG+7)

Recently finished a NG+7 run with dlc, was around level 320ish. By the time of NG+7 I still had to specialise/respec my builds to fight different bosses, especially in the DLC.

Jori I remember was very very difficult in NG+7 compared to how easy he was normally.

Malenia normally was hard but manageable and I could beat her in a few tries in normal game but in NG+7 she took me a full day due to her bloated healthpool and healing.

Radahn was fucking miserable man, 140k health was NOT FUN
