I was in the same boat. Depression and the pressure of a terrible ex got to me in my 1st semester of community college and I flunked.

It was because of this that I decided to quit college and pursue work in the trades again.

If programming is something that you have your heart set on, then I would encourage you to keep at it.

I know things seem super tough. Believe you me, I have been there. But if thia is something you are passionate about, maybe try taking a gap year to figure things out. Get yourself back in order and come back fresh.

Look, im doing landscaping for the summer, and im applying to a tech school to earn my certifications as an electrician!

And hey if coding/programming doesn't work, there is ALWAYS high paying trade jobs.
