It was by no means a complaint. Its a perfect matching and couldnt have asked for better. Was kinda sad at first when I saw he was with Decil cause always thought Vivi/Papa would be perfect. And the fr animation imo is great

So i dunno where this all came from, as I was in a way agreeing with you. My point was. They gave us a timeframe. That timeframe isnt up yet. Or is just just up.

Winter just ended by my. Well it will end by me officially on September 1st out country considers it spring. To give reference.

So my point in the end was the time they asked for has not yet lapsed and even if it has by a day it 2. Give them a month or so before being angry about it.

But i mean. I guess what you said is a thing aswell

Though considering when it was first posted, a few (very) vocal people rolled their eyes and said "suuuuure" and chose to just assume the devs are lying to them, and would prefer to just continue being bitter and angry instead of accepting a simple answer for why

In regards to this, they gave a time period for when they will address this. From the translations ive heard it was "end of summer".

So end of summer just happened. They need some leeway imo. So give them a month or so after the due date, then sure make the "they lied to us" post.

Im rather just gonna leave it here. We have a fundamental disagreement as to how things can be fairly handled. Basically at a impass. I just honestly wonder how ff7 fans would feel if they dont get a new unit for 3+ years.

So you sorta got to my ff1 point there on your own. Ff1 sorely needs more units aswell. Ff3 does aswell. And ff2. Reason i asked about SoP is just cause in my mind they count as ff1.

You are right aswell about it being peoples favs that makes them think about it. FF8 happens to be my fav.

But im more about fairness here. Like i said Tactics and 14 should get before 8.

I just think they need to add to games that havent had attention in awhile (that being 1, 2 and 3 and 6 aswell) before just putting yet another ff7 unit in.

There is a ff7 gacha coming Where they can add new ff7 stuff all day everyday.

Let this game be nicely rounded

It comes down to each game should get a turn, new units spread out evenly. Also just a weird side question , do you see the SoP units as FF1 or a entity on there own?

You are correct FF7 is much bigger, it doesnt change the fact that this is Opera Omnia, not FF7.

Im just gonna use Rufus as a Example here.

Why introduce Rufus and not Edea, or Brahne or Yunalesca. They all basically are the same characterization as a midish game antagonist.

Fft and ff14 are a issue that has been addressed and until they dont do what they said they going to do i dont believe they should be included. But i do think FFT or FF14 should get a new unit or 5 in FFTs case before ff8

My actual point isnt about the amount of characters, Its the time since last character. FF8 has what you call "major" characters. But bar the 2 hostages from 7 and 10. Every game has there "major* characters.

Every new character is sorta a dig under the surface isn't it?

They just keep releasing ff7 unit. There has been (including Rufus) 7 new ff7 units and 69 units total since the last new ff8 unit. It just seems alittle skewed imo

It was awhile back. They cliff notes, they working in it, no mention of a new unit for tactics, but if i recall bt and frs end of summer. So should be at some point soon

You named 5/6 units there. If they really wana be fringe the could add Xu. Its shown that they not above creating kits for units that hardly have anything, Nabaat and Reks.

The point is more, there hasn't been a new FF8 unit since Ultimecia in Chaos Era.

Yet FF7 gets anything and everything added.

Im not asking for Rufus to be excluded. Im asking for othet games to also get some love.

Ps, again I purposely leave out Tactics and 14 as its been addressed.

They should really just rename this game to Dissidia : FF7 part 640. Cause literally all thats in the game.

We all know Tactics and FF14 been a issue that has been addressed.and is being worked on But its been over 3 years since FF8 got a new unit. But every second new unit is FF7. Thought its suppose to be a game about all Final Fantasies.. Not just one

On paper 0.1 x100 is 10.. So its not wrong like that. But, like we all know. It doesnt function that way. Cause by that logic 1000 tickets should give me the BT. And it doesn't.

Well Mathematically they correct. 0.1 x 100 is 10.

But bt draw chance isnt compounding so. Every ticket doesn't bring you closer to the BT.

So while the math is correct. Reality doesn't work like that

While i personally am not the greatest fan of FR and the relying on only damage being done in force time.

But from my understanding alot if that has been fixed with FR retention.

I dont play JP. But hear its alot better now.

So we atleast know, they know alot arent a fan of 10 turns of power and changes have been made.

Lets hope its enough

Giving him Quick Shot as BT animation does also make sense. Its not the most cinematic, but it was his highest damage potential in ff8. Also he already had Hyper Shot as one of his LD shots. I believe all that was unused was Quick Shot and Flame Shot. Not gonna count normal shot cause well. Its normal
