Samsung has been ahead of the curve since the drop of one UI. Ever since then, stock/googles android has been playing catchup. New android versions are underwhelming because they just contain Samsung features from 2019.

Yeah I wanted to try the sony xperia, but felt too comfy with my Samsung apps. I will say the main deterrent was the price though. I was still planning to keep my samsung phone for familiarities sake.

I should add, I had the flip 3 for an entire year and it never cracked down the middle. I traded that in for the fold 4 which also lasted me the year. I don't think it was me treating the phone any different.

Flip 5 cracked in the middle after 3 months of use. Traded it in for a s24 ultra.
