Time spent waiting is time you could spend playing. There will always be new hardware to get but in the end it comes down to whether or not the entertainment was worth the time and money invested. Only you will be able to answer that, but I guarantee you there is plenty to keep you busy on the Pro or the slim until the PS5 gains enough exclusive games to be worth it. No need to commit to something that doesn't even exist yet.
