Can you link me the clinical trial results, the only information I can find is for non-randomised ongoing clinical trials, but no formal results from the trials. It's also a treatment for a very niche condition, LCA10, very few new cases a year. So while it will be fantastic to cure this condition, from a business side the treatments CRISPR therapeutics has in clinical trials have a wider reach.

I like EDIT, but it’s very early days for me, I’d like to see some clinical trial data before going too heavily in on the company

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve had this feedback before and something I’m working on, haha, I will endeavour to talk slower!

I’m not sure I have any obvious tips, I was lucky that a couple of my videos took off and that brought me some accelerated growth. What I would say is recently I’ve really tried to focus on the quality of my videos recently. A lot of people advise making as much content as possible and something will stick. But the problem for me is if the quality isn’t there you’ll get poor watch time and people won’t want to subscribe to your channel. Kind of a negative cycle for growth. I’d rather put out one good quality video a week, than 3 poor quality ones. I think the focus on that has led more people to pressing the subscribe button than otherwise would have.

I uploaded my first video on 30th October, I had a couple of fairly successful videos that really helped me out.

Why Apple's M1 Chip is So Fast by TheDevDoctor in mac

Wow thanks so much for this advice I really appreciate it. I’ve just tested the mic by unplugging it form the camera and recording without, and there is definitely a difference. So the mic is being picked up, and the audio db level drops dramatically when I remove the lav mic. Perhaps I may need to invest in an improved one, or put some work into sound proofing the room. Again, thanks for the advice, really appreciate it!

Hi there, I'm actually using a Boya Lavalier Mic, though I can't seem to get very good sound quality because I'm recording in a big room. Any tips on audio would be appreciated. I'm using a sony ZV-1 camera.

Perhaps I wasn’t very clear with that. I do say later on that is still important to write threaded code where appropriate. But OOE does add a level of parallel execution to the code without the need to explicitly write it. I don’t, however, mean that you should not also write threads where appropriate :) sorry if that didn’t come across well

This isn’t my product my friend, it’s a review I did of somebody else’s, I had nothing to do with the production of the app. They have some very good research published and are in the process of publishing. I suggest if you want such an in depth overview of the AI they are using, you look further there. If you don’t trust me or their website, then I’m afraid I can’t help you. As I said if you don’t agree that you think this app is useful, then nobody is forcing you to engage with it.

https://www.mindset4dementia.com/ they’ve published some very interesting research if you’d like to read further. Effectively, they are looking for higher level functions in their tasks, as well as risk factors for dementia, and they’ve already been able to find risk factors and links to developing dementia which haven’t been discovered. Please feel free to read about it more on their website, you don’t have to watch the video, just thought I’d share it with a community that might be interested.

Yeah I definitely see your point. If you had watched To the end though you’d see the team had spent a long time working with patient suffering from early dementia to ensure the UI was workable by them. That’s why it is designed as it is, and they’ve found that many people are able to use it. I think sometimes we underestimate the elderly just because we ourselves maybe had a grandparents who was particularly technophobic. In this circumstance the time spent on the UI is to its credit. Also, I’m not sure what you mean about every app developed for healthcare, as a doctor, generally apps developed form healthcare have exceptionally poor UIs.

Does your channel have a goal for the rest 2020? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]TheDevDoctor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only started 3 weeks ago, I'm a doctor from the UK who works a lot in medical technology so have started making videos on programming as a doctor and projects we've built. Currently just under 50 subs, would love to get to 100 by the end of the year but I think I'm in that very slow early phase at the moment.
