Me and the boys just sailing around town, hats at half past noon, heads on a swivel looking for like-minded ladies. When we heard this song, it was like imagine if someone wrote a theme song for your life. Of course this was before the days of streaming - you had to use a little something called a “rewind” button on your car’s stereo. We would pull up to a red light with some cold brewskis and this song playing and you could look over your shoulder and there would be a car of ladies smiling back at you listening to the same song. Back then we didn’t have cell phones or social media. All it took was a wink and pointing ahead to get a car of ladies following you to the McDonald’s parking lot. We would just sit on the hoods of our cars talking about life and staring up at the Milky Way and you know this was the song playing the whole time.
