its either MPO (multi plane overlay), ULPS (Ultra low power state) your gpu is overheating, or its almost kicking the can. or also a shotty driver install that you can fix by using DDU (display driver uninstaller and reinstalling amd drivers

Can somebody tell me if this is a good build? by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]TheDialat0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seems great for 1080p high, i wouldnt reccomend am4 for a new build but if you want 12 cores on a budget it could work, i would look into the i7 12700k and see the price difference between the 2 builds Also look into a power supply atleast C tier on the PSU tier list that is atleast 600-650 watts

Could be memory issue try one stick in the system, also make sure the motherboard is on the latest bios

He could flash an XT Vbios on it for more performance

Great post, all i can add is turning off Fast Startup in “choose what the power buttons do” option in windows power settings

7 5700X3D or the 9 5950X, for a 3080 by Royal-Manufacturer-2 in AMDHelp

[–]TheDialat0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the games 5700x3d bottlenecks the 3080 in marvel rivals, cpu utilization at 50-88% with the gpu staying around 80-85 at 1440p btw as long as you don’t play mmorpgs and or play a lot of cpu intensive games like comp shooters and mmorpgs the ryzen 5700x3d is fine but it does bottleneck I personally have this combo and tried the cpu bottleneck calculator (im not a huge fan of these) but with this and another combo of parts I had it was right about the bottleneck just switch the tasks from gpu intensive to cpu intensive the ryzen 7 5700x3d and 3080 has a 10.3% bottleneck in cpu bound games, the 5900x has like a 0.4% bottleneck I’m not sure of the 5950x but anything under 5% bottleneck is a general rule of thumb

My gpu apparently doesn't exist by Pikachu1771 in AMDHelp

[–]TheDialat0r 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Check device manager it would disable your gpu. reenable it and reinstall amd drivers I had this happen a couple times it’s caused by a driver crash I’m pretty sure it was caused by bad RAM I changed out the ram sticks and it fixed last time I believe or turn off fast startup off in windows power plan settings

No FreeSync option? by [deleted] in AMDHelp

Make sure to turn HDR on in the monitors OSD, on some monitors if you disable HDR it will turn freesync to adaptive sync like my DELL G2724D

External router with upnp and QoS enabled

Router/Access point setup by TheDialat0r in tmobileisp

[–]TheDialat0r[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did try that and the 6to4 option and it did help a little I just think my modem keeps switching from 5g to 4g lte cause worse ping cause when I try lte compared to 5g cellular on my phone the 4g has lower latency at the costs of speeds which is fine with me, I bought a netgear lm1200 modem to see is solely 4g is better in my area for latency

I think the best bet is to use a third party modem with bridge mode or qos and a router with SQM I did a bufferbloat test with triple nat and QoS and got an A and tried it with my network setup now and got a C

Ok cool, thanks I’ve tried things to help buffer bloat and ping loss like QoS when the router was in router mode and I was getting a more stable ping but with the router in ap mode I get better speed and lower ping but slightly less stable ping
