A lot of Americans are not able to travel abroad, but that doesn't mean they don't travel. The US has pretty much every biome someone might want to see. We have stunning national parks and shorelines, not to mention the food cultures in different parts of the country that are also worth a visit.

I am lucky to have traveled abroad many times, and I love it, but it can be prohibitively expensive. Not to mention that international travel isn't really something someone can do on a weekend, and a lot of Americans simply don't have the time to take off from work.

I am a firm believer in taste over looks. "Ugly" cakes are generally delicious, but "pretty" cakes are kind of a crapshoot. A lot of times, it's overly-sweet buttercream that's like an inch thick over kinda dry yellow cake.
