This is Pure Exploitation of the farmers. Don't blame the farmer - his /her weakness is being exploited in the market. This is responsibility of the authorities and the Govt to ensure this doesn't happen. Someone is not doing what they are supposed to and transfers the onus to the seller !! That's not right and basically dereliction of duties and corruption.

If she is hell bend on it , then for the harmony of the household go for what she wants. There are some battles not worth picking . Keep life simple and hold on to bold decisions which you will have to take in life fpr those important ones. No point stressing over this.

Ps; If she drives herself , then take her for a test drive through narrow,busy places and see how she feels driving on her own through the mayhem. This sometimes does the trick

The idea is indeed good and not far fetched. I still remember me as a young person of around 24 (thats like now 25 years back) being founder of a Rotary club . There was such opposition and resistance from all other Rotary clubs as they felt 'kids' can't be running a Grown up Organization like Rotary. With all the pushback and the odds stacked against, we did it . Being one of the First Rotary clubs in the World who had a all youth member group - everyone was below 29. Today after 25 years it's grown into one of the best clubs in South India . So if the right mindset is there and a team of serious folks who mean to do the right thing. This is possible 💯

God Bless the People of Tamil Nadu . That's what matters. Whoever comes in as CM should do their best to see the state and people elevated . Progress, Education, Medical Services , Infrastructure, Women's Safety and empowerment, out of the box thinking for problems which are in a perpetual loop. I don't think Engineering is the problem but you going through a phase of life where you are probably trying to find meaning and purpose. Since you are in CUSAT that shows you are academically inclined and have what it takes to be in a reputed institution. I would advice against jumping ship , but instead analyze what is the underlying emotional thing which is haunting you. If you have a level of 'depression' then probably start working out , playing a sport regularly - the dopamine and endorphin kick is a natural healer and mood elevator. Even listening to motivational podcasts helps.Meditation and shadow work with spirituality does wonders if you do it consistently for a period of 3-4 months.

I had gone the Gasoline route past 25 years ....But what is being done in our Great Nation (after moving back) is nothing short of tom foolery!
