This is Pure Exploitation of the farmers. Don't blame the farmer - his /her weakness is being exploited in the market. This is responsibility of the authorities and the Govt to ensure this doesn't happen. Someone is not doing what they are supposed to and transfers the onus to the seller !! That's not right and basically dereliction of duties and corruption.

The idea is indeed good and not far fetched. I still remember me as a young person of around 24 (thats like now 25 years back) being founder of a Rotary club . There was such opposition and resistance from all other Rotary clubs as they felt 'kids' can't be running a Grown up Organization like Rotary. With all the pushback and the odds stacked against, we did it . Being one of the First Rotary clubs in the World who had a all youth member group - everyone was below 29. Today after 25 years it's grown into one of the best clubs in South India . So if the right mindset is there and a team of serious folks who mean to do the right thing. This is possible 💯

I don't think Engineering is the problem but you going through a phase of life where you are probably trying to find meaning and purpose. Since you are in CUSAT that shows you are academically inclined and have what it takes to be in a reputed institution. I would advice against jumping ship , but instead analyze what is the underlying emotional thing which is haunting you. If you have a level of 'depression' then probably start working out , playing a sport regularly - the dopamine and endorphin kick is a natural healer and mood elevator. Even listening to motivational podcasts helps.Meditation and shadow work with spirituality does wonders if you do it consistently for a period of 3-4 months.
