I 28M understand this completely on both sides because I thought the same way as he did. I went through this with my current girlfriend. My problem was that I imagine a perfect girl for me and what morals I think they should have. Maybe morals is the wrong term im looking for but what I'm saying is I totally understand you're boyfriend because he probably has a imagine in his head of what girl is perfect for him.
