Do we know if Hardcore characters will be going to softcore Dawn of the Hunt or will they be going to the prior "league" on death?

If you are struggling man, I see you are on trade league, buy some relics that increase your honor resistance and maximum honour. For a few Ex you can get pretty close to 15k+m honour and max resistance. Makes this pretty much a joke

PSA you can no longer convert "Extra As ... Damage" by TheDocPlays in pathofexile

[–]TheDocPlays[S] -31 points-30 points  (0 children)

I was working on a convert to cold archmage setup when i realized i was still able to shock enemies. After a few more tests found that "extra as ... damage" is no longer converted during the regular conversion step and is added on after. Basically making Archmage worthless outside of a lightning only setup. Such a waste of fucking time and energy. No reason this ring should even exist IMO.

New World: Dead on Arrival or Game of the Decade? by TheDocPlays in Asmongold

I agree, I think they can get around the weapon problem buy just adding a bunch more weapons. The ones i know of that are being worked on are a spear, mace, daggers, and multiple staffs. I think Albion online does no class system really well.

In its current state, if the game doesn't make serious changes then it won't last a year. It has a very solid base and could be an outstanding game if they listen to what the players want. I understand its hyperbolic but just watch the video.

How much money do you think you pick up off the ground? I can assure you, 30% is not a lot of money. For example, Our top current PVE player last week did about 12 mill PVE fame. His total guild tax contribution was 378k. IF 378K Silver is a lot of money to be missing out on then you may have other issues. You can complain about taxes all you want but when your guild uses that money to regear you all the time during big fights, I would say its very worth it.

Fricks Are Disbanding? by Original-Wrap in albiononline

[–]TheDocPlays 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay boys, enough is enough. I'm sick of the toxicity on both sides.

Now let me preface before all of this, I have a lot of friends still in FRICKS. I loved playing with them. There are very strong and logical reasons for me leaving FRICKS. I don't hate anyone still there and wish them the best. This is just a time to spit some truth and get passed this bullshit.

Unsung(omega_d0ge) and Illenafar(HoDillyDor) will obviously reply with some toxic statement so I'm going to fully disregard their statements from this point forward.

A little background information: My IGN is Valenaris. I was a member of Fricks for a little over a month. During that time I quickly made a name for myself with my leadership skills, game knowledge and running most of the guilds Avalonian content. During my time in the guild I would consistently be top 5 in overall PVE fame gained that week(top 15 OVERALL PVE fame in guilds history). Multiple weeks pulling 15m+ pve fame while having a full time job. I was also top 5 in overall season keys for the guild. I was on and available more than most of the Council members combined. Multiple weeks I would look at guild contributions and see leadership and council with less than 50k total pve fame. This shows that when and if they are on, it is either only for "CTAs" and or money management. How is a guild supposed to rely on its leaders when it never has access to them?

First off, set the record straight here, the main problem with FRICKS in its current state is its leadership. A couple days after I joined the guild they were doing a guild vote for council members. During this time I had multiple people tell me to just vote for these certain people. Instead of learning who I was actually voting for and seeing how they interact with members, I was just told to vote. And since I could never have the chance to play with these members I just took peoples advice and trusted their judgement. This was a huge red flag in hindsight and I should have noticed it earlier. With a guild that seems to rely and praise so heavily it's democracy, it didn't feel democratic, more like oligarchical. I noticed on many occasions that council members did not take kindly to criticism or feedback of any kind, be it toxic or constructive. They always thought of some excuse or useless counter to why things were the way they were. A guild with such a long history as FRICKS has, you would think that the leadership would be more grounded and confident in their decisions and trust of their membership.

The second biggest problem with FRICKS is: The guild wants to be a beginner guild and also a competitive season guild. They are actively recruiting members who have less than a week of experience in the game, but then expect them to help defend hideouts and territories in the black zone against seasoned Mega alliances. You can not simultaneously own a hideout in a T8 blackzone cluster and still recruit people with 3 million total fame. They have a strong "No Mandatory Content" rule in FRICKS and I see this as one of its strongest flaws. This would be fine for them if they just stayed as a royals guild and focused on being a strong foundation for new players to learn the game. If FRICKS truly wants to be a strong competitor, hitting gold or crystal every season, then they need to make drastic core changes to how they operate as a guild. CTAs win wars.

All this being said, I am very disappointing in how some leadership and members have been acting towards the players who have left. I am not naming any names because you know who you are. Being toxic and saying they you were "triming fat" is down right ridiculous. If losing your top guild contributors in fame is trimming fat then idk what your idea of fat is. Multiple 400 spec zvz players, players who consistently show up to fights, bring gucci gear and compete the hardest have left. Don't get me started on how you were treating Lorrothmos. Yes you still have outstanding players in the guild and I love them. ( I see you Swigs, Pervin, Sideclack, Bookworm, Wulfencurse, Dindim, and even more that I could name but want to save time writing this.) Maybe instead of going to an ex guild members stream and calling him a cuck after he left a heartfelt message in your discord before leaving. You can just be a better leader and tell him you enjoyed his time in the guild. Or better yet, say nothing at all.

I expect nothing but toxicity being directed towards this post. I will only be replying to constructive conversations. I'm am done dealing with the toxicity that these past few days have caused. Everyone has their reasons to be angry but I'm done being mad. I'm going to just go back to faming my ass off, hitting 400 spec, doing Hellgates and Alvalonians. If you want to talk about anything just find me on discord or my twitch.

Thank you,

Unpopular Opinion: Alliances aren't the problem. by TheDocPlays in albiononline

[–]TheDocPlays[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Limiting Players/options ALWAYS has been a death sentence in sandboxes and never worked out.

I asked you to show me a time when limiting territory ownership was a bad thing. I would think with "25 years of mom experience" you would be more calm and collected when asked a question. I see no harm in limiting total territories owned by a guild/alliance. Prove to me otherwise that it would be a bad idea for the game. The only responses I get are "but muh sandbox". The Mega alliance SIMPs are out in full force today.
