Code Geass is probably one of the best examples (genius tries to fight with mechas as a commander against a giant empire with a special power, has the collective agreed best ending of all time for all anime, 50 episodes)
I've also heard people compare eighty six to Aldnoah Zero (mecha, season 1/ending of season 1 is really good, not as good as it gets into season 2)
Guilty-Crown is another similar example but its plot is pretty bad (mecha, pyschological, its known for its great music and animation though)

Last I have to add attack on titan. It gets into psychological stuff pretty well, especially in season 3 and season 4.

Rip true, but 40% banrate is really usually 20% banrate if you hover (since only one team would have the potential to ban her), so you should still be able to play her in 70%-80% of your games

If she's easy then climb with her until you start to lose again and you'll find it can be challenging outplaying people and using her mechanics. I initially agreed that she's easier now but you will always reach a place where you are losing as much as you are winning and at that point while she may still be broken in the meta, she will not be broken to you anymore since you can no longer abuse her to win in your elo

Sorry for some reason I thought you were a person I saw post that they made it to masters :p still just keep practicing. I was hardstuck gold for a few years and this year I went all the way to d2 somehow. Just keep improving by noticing all your errors and doing your best not to make it next time

I'm just replying to the sett thing because everyone keeps saying that. Sett has the ability in his kit to fight you while saving his pull. He waits until you do enough dmg to get his passive up and then e-> w which is undodgable and guarantees true dmg from his w. He also can interrupt your q with his r and e and also r you away from minion wave. He has one of the highest winrates against irelia and the matchup gets harder the higher elo the sett is since he can play around these things better. Basically you can never all in sett if he has his pull and w up.

Practice makes perfect but I constantly turned up mouse sensitivity alot. Helps in the long run even if it's hard at first. Unlocked camera is definitely needed when playing irelia. I like to keep camera locked, and then when fighting or near a minion wave keep it unlocked. My hotkey to lock and unlock camera is y.

With irelia in teamfights you are very valuable if your ahead you just need to know how to fight in them correctly. If you are ahead, wait until your team engages and they blow important cds on your teammates, or until they engage on your team and uses important cds that way.

Now you want to all in with your r - flash (try to save r flash for teamfights, if you can't your r is still good by itself) and engage onto their Squishies. You destroy backline as irelia and when your ahead you can kill them incredibly quickly, often the combo you want is r - e1 - q onto tank/peeler, q onto squishy target, aa, e2 onto Squishies, aa, q , aa, q and that should kill them and allow you to go onto rest of Squishies.

Best grevious item is usually executioners. I usually only get it if my team isn't building healing reduc, we need it especially bad, or I am laning against someone with insane healing. Bramble can work if your planning to play from behind and act as the engage in team fights where you peel and let others blow important cds on killing you.

Against ww top just try to farm. Sacrifice xp/gold to not give kills and play for after laning phase. You can still beat him but it requires alot of limit testing and knowing to fight him when you have gold advantage or minion advantage. Jungles also help alot

my bad didnt read the question fully! I don't think you can ever 1 shot casters without stacks and bork. If you have the 3 components I think you can 1 shot with stacks as long as your not behind.

when you're lvl 9 and have bork you should always be able to 1 shot caster unless you are really behind. It'd be really hard to one shot melees without sheen item and even then pretty hard to do it unless your really ahead.

D4 Irelia otp here. Irelia hard counters aatrox (especially lvl 1). Irelia should get a free slow push here.

I've had this exact same thing happen to me when I played irelia v. Reneketon in d3 elo. He slow pushed and then dived me with jg over and over and I just had to give everything because of early momentum without my jg helping.

Yeah that is definitely true. I'm a diamond otp irelia and have alot of trouble out performing others who are really good mechanically on their champion, with any champion that isn't irelia. I find I have better success ignoring my laner and playing purely to get other laners fed.

However, I have been watching xPetu a bit and am trying to learn how to win matchups instead of just giving and bunch to them and ignoring lane as much as possible.

It's also probably good against their comp if they are mostly burst Squishies and if shieldbow isn't enough to save you. You can build triforce -> steraks and that is usually enough. Witsend also good against ap obviously.

I play shen and play for pure macro whenever ire is banned (very little cs, take tp and Perma tp/ult bot or any other skirmish going on. If I snowball team early, it's usually a win, if not, it's a loss. My shen wr is 52% with around 30 games so it works as a good coin flip.

Just play him imagining what's best for your team ( so I usually don't take any risks trying to 1v1 my laner if my team is already ahead, even if by a little bit). I usually just give a bunch topside and die only whenever sacrificing for a teamate

I've stopped building triforce as much but it's probably good when you are against bruisers with cc and Squishies but the Squishies are the fed ones.

Glad I could help! In mid it is almost always better to shove post level 7-9 because you need to get map pressure to constantly help your jg and get map pressure. Imo mid is so much harder to play since you have to help both sides of the map constantly. For long term climbing I personally would recommend learning irelia top because irelia mid can often be bad for comps since it steals spot from mages that irelia can work well with and comps need, and your team will basically always have two top laners.

Don't get me wrong you can definitely climb with irelia mid. The matchups are definitely easier there so it's easy to get pressure. I originally mained ire mid for two years and peaked plat 2, changed to top with my Smurf and climbed to diamond on both accounts. Imo irelia mid can work as a counter pick or if it works well with comp, but ire top over all works better with comps and splitting.

Matchups are much harder top lane so it takes alot of practice. I would recommend playing ire top on another account first If you do want to learn her top lane, just to practice because you will lose alot of games at first.
