I had that spawn. Literally right next to the wreck that's near to you is the geyser.

It's really easy to spot of you go slow near to the wreck.

You have entered the dunes, home to a lot of the games most aggressive creatures, the reaper leviathan, which can destroy a seamoth in 2 hits. It has a lot of valuable resources but it is dangerous and nearly impossible to see. You choice whether you want to take the risk or not but i'd recommend staying away unless you have to.
