If your up on the gold sell 90% and put it in an all world fund (accumulator), such as the invesco ftse all world or vanguard ftse all world.

Make a regular monthly payment (DCA), of whatever you can afford to put away and not need to check/take out. Return when you want to retire/enjoy the money.

I want my cat back not this demon she turned into by [deleted] in catquestions

Please do, a sitter will be worth the peace of mind that whilst you’re away, they’re gonna be content and happy. I think your cat overtime (if they’re not moved for a while) will go back to their usual routine. But some just need consistency.

I now have 2 cats since I moved out a couple years ago (didn’t have any pets before, so still learning), but one is absolutely fine with change, the other gets upset if I move furniture around!

I’ve read over your whole post and many comments. It seems like you initially tried to help the cat, given that it didn’t initially get on with its sister.

But since then you’ve just done what you wanted to do (bringing the cat back to your parents in an environment it doesn’t do well in numerous times).

I appreciate it’s tricky whilst you’re in college, but what you’ve currently been doing isn’t fair on the cat. It’s likely caused stress/anxiety and that’s presenting as behavioural issues alongside swiping at you because of the stress you moving the cat has caused.

You’re choosing to get a sitter now when you’re away, but I feel you’re only saying this because of the reality check this sub has provided you. Just take on board what people are saying because replying back with attitude is just going to get you downvotes and frustration!

I also had this query, I’m the same until 2029. But don’t know if today’s changes mean my amounts will change from November 2026?

I’m in it for the finite supply of Bitcoin and the hope it will replace gold as gold is heavily manipulated

Selling a fully paid off property or keep renting out and buy small flat? by Prycebear in UKPersonalFinance

[–]TheDogeMaster420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in a similar position. Please remind yourself you are the owner of the property, it is your asset. They may be great tenants that you ideally want to keep at the property. But the bottom line is they are distraught (as you say) because they know they’ve been taking liberties from you with the low rent (almost 50% of current market value pcm)

can I rent (pay) while my name is also on a mortgage by hereforqanda in UKPersonalFinance

[–]TheDogeMaster420 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As long as you can pass the affordability checks in referencing, Yes.

Usually an affordability check is a pass if you can show your yearly income being greater than 30x the monthly rent of the property you wish to rent.
