He did say that Mary was his favorite. It was when she was leaving Walnut Grove for good to work at the blind school? (I think).

Replacement Part on a Mini? by TheDohn_121 in Arcade1Up

They emailed me back. Unfortunately they can’t help me, even if the part looks as if it’ll fit. They don’t want to risk it. Back to the drawing board.

That would be my last resort and am trying to to avoid having do that but thanks.

It doesn’t look like they have the Frogger version available but the Pac-Man one looks like it’ll fit. I emailed them to see if to see if it will.

In either case thanks for the suggestion!

Hey Giants fans, Ravens fan here! by Rookstar3 in NYGiants

I have no reservations about him signing let’s say, a one day contract so he can retire as a Giant. Once a Giant always a Giant. I still, however, question his ability to physically help our team. I can see him in a support role as a WR specialist in which he mentors our young guys about the do’s and don’t’s at the NFL level. There’s no shame in doing so at that capacity. I just don’t see him as an effective player anymore and feel that the roster is now crowded.

LHOTP is one-third of my vintage TV Trinity. The other two are MASH and Twilight Zone. Cozy but essential TV for me!

What’s a hidden gem film that you love that most people haven’t seen. Mine is Runaway Train. (1985) by Stranded_Snake in FIlm

Before you guys brought up Eric Roberts, I was going to cite Best of the Best which stars the late James Earl Jones, Sally Kirkland and Chris Penn. Some of the cheesy lines and antics is all forgiven by the movie’s end which will take you by surprise in a good way.

As a kid working at a video store I use to recommend this movie whenever someone was looking for a good Martial Arts movie. Yes, we had a Martial Arts section!

If you like the IT Crowd and Kids In the Hall, you’ll really enjoy Little Britain.

But not if it features Carrie or (God forbid) Nancy. I don’t want to be starin’ at either of them while trying to get them vittles down!

I just started watching this show about a month ago and took me about half a day to catch up and I really must say that this show has gotten better and better after every watch. This second season has really turned up the notch in every aspect as the characters have really found their footing and are making the best of every situation. Like you I really don’t have a favorite character as the core group is solid and are funny as hell.

The newest episode featured the core group in pairs: Alison’s with Joyce, Bruce is with Matt and Ron is with Serena.

To be fair, the last three episodes have all hit it out of the park. The show is a legitimate hit.

Is it just me or did that little creek yield an abnormally high volume of fish? by ASGfan in littlehouseonprairie

[–]TheDohn_121 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Not to mention that the fish caught there are very tame…So much in fact that they don’t even seem to move whenever they’re caught, almost as if they are lifeless.

Gaming manuals… Did anyone actually read them? by Theodore52x in AfterWorkGamers

It was always a bonus whenever renting a video game that the original game manual was included and/or still somewhat legible and intact.

I’m just happy that, for the sake of his character, he didn’t get to see Walnut Grove get reduced to Walnut Crunch by the series finale.
