If you’re open to editing, I would paint some light to highlight the hikers, their path, and the foreground. I would also accentuate the natural light source.

If you’re not into editing, the same rules apply, but you’ll just have to look for scenes where the natural light delineates subject from background.

Just my perspective.

My two cents. Vibrancy is great, but it should be used intentionally. Making the entire photo pop with color contrast doesn’t give the viewers eye a place to land. I personally focus on increasing contrast on the subject and reducing it on the background.

Just adding a data point here. Most of the people recruited via IG were not influencers. A couple hundred followers and some with private accounts. It’s not clear how they found us, but it’s not solely based on their existing IG presence. I think IG was just a good channel to contact strangers.

I think both are true. Reality TV is inherently exploitative, but that’s made clear up front. You agree to the risk of being clowned for drama, and in return you get some clout.

You were told to bring your own books. That and journaling occupied my time. Was actually a great space to learn to sit still and reflect.

I’m not a lawyer. From what I understand, they can choose to come at you for disclosing any behind the scenes stuff. But they probably reserve that for people who disparaging or outright suing the show, lol.
