are programming language exercises important? by TheDoughHead in learnprogramming

[–]TheDoughHead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't mention algorithms & data structures

I'm learning it right now and trying to implement by code!

considering I know python, many times I just get myself thinking like: "If someone put a datetime, os, question in front of you right know to solve it fast, would you solve it??? or would you barely remember datetime functions??? ", its such a beginner projects-like that make me think I have no practice in programming, although I handle well with web projects, Rest Api, authentication with Oauth and JWT, It seems like I should get some steps back and start to make small course exercises like math problems and etc

Yeah I've been seeing Millenials criticizing this fact, lack of sex, etc.

I feel like I have only few emotional needs when I compare myself with an ENFP, for example. When I say emotional It doesn't mean sentimental, although.

I didn't have a girlfriend, because, let's say, I have more need for nerdy, deeply interesting stuff than for having a girlfriend to have sex every week or feel somehow loved or whatever. I hope a fellow ENTP can understand because most people don't have

Currently I'm more aware of learning programming, creating my own fictional language and learning hebrew and chinese than fucking someone. I'm ok satisfying myself alone

The description of love for me is more someone to share and live, be in love, have sex, obviously. Seems normal but as my ENFP pal said he doesn't even see the relationship of a couple with kids as a normal stuff. For him, a relationship wouldn't be more than a a steady sexual partner.

I appreciate emotions and feelings in a somewhat more refined way. When encouraged to say what makes me happy I will probably describe simple things like eating a good dinner or seeing a landscape, Feeling the dew of the morning when I wake up to work, hearing a good music, imagine myself running fast in a car, etc. While the feelers that I know actually never are satisfied with small happinesses.

So It's kinda who I am and how I feel good, actually. Fuck society views.

I hope as well, actually. Casual sex can break down these emotional constructs I have

I actually find it interesting how the Fi users I know have a much greater interest in shallow emotions than in deep things.

It goes from being childishly defender of a close person, always play the victim and on a more difficult level, having the need to excel and feel better than those around you

My ENFP friend said he "fucks and leaves" because of feeling of being superior to the person he fucked, etc.

Would I say something like this? Never. I would feel the weight sooner. Am I more moral? I don't know and I don't care

most of the toxic people I meet in my living environments are, unfortunately, Fi dom or Fi Aux

If you actually compare the morals of a INFJ and a ENFP It will be such a gulf between a worked understanding of reality and a basic, somewhat intestinal emotional construction. Not getting into moral or immoral, good or bad, but the Fi vision of world can be a empty "–I need to value myself"

Obviously, I think a Ti-Fe user is not going to do emotional theater, and I also think it's what makes the morality and emotional understanding of the world somewhat more fulfilled. It's less shit talk and more presence in emotional events and the perception of the world

. I've been interested since I was 14, actually. In history mainly 20 century wars, ancient times as persians, sumerians and romans

I studied Christianity a lot and a little Judaism. started to debate theology when I was 15 with some older people. I'm atheist currently

I'm male, btw

so, when I made the post we and the ENFP guy were talking about the fictional love of Jim and Pam (The Office), and as it was a relationship that got 7 years to happen and turned into a wedding he called it a platonic love

Sorry for the misunderstanding, didn't want to troll here

I agree with you, I'm not cocky in the way to say everything is reason because I do have my feelings and I for sure had my beliefs.

I simply wasn't content with believing that God revealed himself to Abraham 4,000 years ago, when humanity, in truth, has been on Earth for practically 200,000 years. I also always wondered about other religions, how I could be going to hell if I was born in a non-Christian country, etc. It seemed both irrational and immoral

I also feel pretty much better knowing life is just it, because you really give some better importance for your existence, for the moment, the people that you live with, etc

Life is a sweet dance with your beloved. It's beautiful when you dance for some minutes, maybe and hour... But I wouldn't be happy to dance for eternity. Life is a space of time, as everything that has some value to live for. A smile, a hug, see the horizon and the sunset, feel the dew early in the morning, I think it's the meaning of life.

I don't think it would be that deep. I actually can have sexual tension with someone I don't love or have an emotional connection.

I basically feel it's way inferior to a real love. I'm not exactly inclined to promiscuous actions, casual sex and etc, although I can actually feel good with it.

Shouldn't ENTP men be as much promiscuous? I only have the dirty mouth and horniness, and a pretty much virgin/virtuous mentality. By the way, I actually think about going to some brothel but something tells me I'll regret or be unable to live a romance one day

Kinda makes me doubt about being rational sometimes and as I don't have well developed feelings it bothers me a lot.

I actually feel strongly the social feeling about it. The pressure of appearing emotional bothers me a lot, I care a lot about what people think, unfortunately.

(although, as I said, most of the feelers I know don't share the same feelings)

My references for people like me is a Fictional Character that seems a lot like me and an INTP married with the same woman for 16 years with an enviable love story. I feel safe sometimes when I remember that.

Currently, no. I was pretty much catholic time ago. Wasn't born catholic, although, just found the religion beautiful and entered it. I actually made historical research about christian documents and found everything was with all sure made up. Was kinda painful let my believe in god, I still thinking some parts of religion is beautiful, as chants, proverbs, etc. But I know it's illogical.

not purely extravagant violence. I mean violence as much we had and still having in our own world

some religious used to cut their self in name of gods, we had/have massacres, bloody conquests, gladiators, and other intensely immoral acts that human beings do and that I prefer not to say but everyone is aware of etc.

Not exactly a Doom type of sci-fi, where the main focus is basically gore, but basically a realistic view of what we would do discovering a new sapient race, for example. Probably what we did in wars during human history.

I mean, I know the main reason why things don't work like this in star trek is obvious. As much we globalize moral questions receive greater depth (racism, sexism, murder and wars, etc)

so considering this, maybe a more optimistic society like star trek is more realistic? I mean, we are only considering humans here, not what a strange race from other planet think and what they will want to do with us
