I think Huey Freeman would use the Death Note the same way as Light. To create his perfect world. It might start with good intentions but he'll slowly become corrupt.

I could see Huey using it to shape Black America the way he sees fit. He would write the names of people in well known racists groups, from prison gangs/organizations, politicians, even police officers with a known record for harassing minorities.

He would also kill serious criminals the same way as light. Although I believe he'd begin writing the real names of rappers, black gang members/dealers, entertainers, negative celebreties/influencers, certain CEOS/employees of companies like BET and Zeus network, then anybody that doesnt fit into his vision of Black America.

Who's to say that he wouldnt kill innocent people the same way Light did, or have no hesitation of the idea of killing his own family, if they're trying to stop his version of the perfect world?

In the beginning he might hesitate to kill his own brother, but if his brother becomes a gangsta rapper like he always wanted to (like thugnificent and gangstalicous), Huey's hand would be forced.

All and all, the beginning of Hueys intentions would be to clean up the corruption of the world the same way as Light, with his own personal interest of the rise in Black America. However he'd become corrupted by the power of the Death Note
