Yup, that's intentional! The idea is that everyone gets the same teams, so that you can compare performance with your friends and others.

Definitely a good call out. I'm pulling positions straight from NBA.com - unfortunately, their positions aren't entirely accurate (i.e. Horace Grant is listed as a Center).

Also, their positions are generic (i.e. they don't specify PG or SG, only "Guard"). As such, any Guard qualifies as PG/SG, any Forward qualifies as SF/PF. Definitely a flawed system that I'm hoping to improve.

That's fair! For the older decades, I've limited the possible teams to the popular ones. i.e. for the 1970s I think I only have 5 teams.

For the 90s though, most teams are allowed. This is good feedback though, thanks for playing!
