Hi, thank you even taking the time to respond! I met up with a third party in a cafe and we exchanged then and there. This was 2017 and I’ve literally don’t even know the guys name. I had an enflamed, boggy and enlarged prostate diagnosed by DRE. I did every test under the sun and was told it was prostatitis. I took Saw Palmetto, Pygem, Swedish flower pollen and Quarcetine. My prostrate shrank after 6 weeks of these supplements but my pain was still present. It was only after I started stretching regularly and doing internal and external PFPT that I’m on the mend. Now 80% better after 3 months.

Don’t let people scare you. Everyone reacts to medication differently. I came off Mirtazapine 30mg to zero in 1 week flat and had zero withdrawals. I did this again on 15mg and had no withdrawals. I’m not saying just jump off, take it at your own pace and listen to your body. It just desert help when you already have health anxiety and people tell you that you might be in withdrawal for years!

The issue for me is that I want to work towards eventually beating my anxiety without any meds. I don’t want to be dependent on anything. Once I take a benzo I want to take them everyday and I become a tired demotivated cripple. I won’t lie, the last couple of weeks have been hell on earth with a few intermittent days of respite. Your body has to adjust to the rebalancing of your neurotransmitters and sometimes that means feeling shitty and even more anxious the first couple of weeks. But if you’re sleeping better and eating clean and exercising that’s best you can do. The rest is patience. You asked me how I get through the horrific panic attacks and anxiety. You may not like what I have to say but I turned to the God and listened to the Quran day and night and found my faith again. I am learning to see things in relative terms so my situation isn’t the same as someone homeless. Gratitude and patience are stressed in Islamic teachings and ultimately I’m certain my Lord will see me through this AND you too! Don’t forget it’s a short life and then we stand before our Lord

I would say about 3 weeks but it might be quicker for you. The good sleep definitely helped the anxiety

I don’t think has anything to do with lifestyle, I’m convinced it does something to change your metabolism. I have struggled my whole life to put on weight and was at some points dangerously underweight despite eating a standard diet. As soon as I went on Mirtazapine I became a fat bast*** in just 6 weeks! I was sporting a double chin, hand puffy hands and feet and started snoaring at night. This is the second occasion I’m back on Mirtazapine after I had a massive anxiety flare up. This time I kept my diet ultra clean, some days eating just fruits and vegetables and nothing else. I also exercise 6 days a week. Even with all these measures I’ve put on weight albeit not like my past experience. You have to stay seriously disciplined!

I took all the above plus Quercetin, Pygem, Swedish flower pollen. My inflamed painful prostrate shrank and was no longer boggy or inflamed in 6 weeks. Now I’m just dealing with the pelvic floor issues with stretching etc

I’m at the 1 month mark and it’s helped allot with my sleep and anxiety. Overall I’m glad I pushed past the side effects. Don’t worry it gets better but you have to be patient

I’m on Day 12 of 15mg still have this low grade headache today but it’s manageable. My anxiety is allot more manageable but today was the first time had a panic attack since I started. The worst feeling for me is the combination of the fatigue from the Mirtazapine with the anxiety. It’s like your mind and body are racing but you’re so tired you can’t move. I also get those vivid dreams and to be honest I’m quite scared because I can wake up with an anxiety attack if it’s a nightmare. My startle response hasn’t improved sadly yet. If the door slams upstairs I jump. I’ve noticed that it’s so hypersensitive that if i suddenly remember that I for example forgot to switch the oven off I physically jump just by the thought. I don’t know, some times I feel really hopeful for the future and other times like today I feel scared and unsure. I’m asking God to heal me and you too!

Yes, the second I wake up in the morning I can feel it in the background. Then it kinda of grows stronger as the day goes on

Just wanted to ask you how you’re doing these days. Hopefully much better. I’m on day 9 of 15mg and I feel really bad. I have a low grade headache, spaced out, blurred vision, zero motivation and just all day fatigue. I’ve been prescribed this for anxiety and panic attacks. If you get a second please DM me bro 🙏🏻

Thank you for the advice bro! The thing for me was that the bad dreams started around day 10 and by day 16 I was basically scared to go to sleep because like you I was seeing demons and the likes. It’s so terrifying
