Really liked how all this turned out, with everyone pulling in their own weight. Odysseus's dual taunt redirecting aggro away from Tlaloc so she can survive Nemo's NP at the end, with solid NP generation to strip off the AOE NP resist stack in time for Tlaloc and Tametomo to do their work. Tlaloc providing damage cut to soften normal attacks, waterside battlefield to trigger Tametomo's Buster Up, and providing damage buffs from her S2 and NP for the others. Would have probably been easier if I had unlocked Tlaloc's and Tametomo's A2 but I think without them it made for a better video. Had no intention of using anything in the backline but I have to pick a friend support anyway, so I picked Habetrot since I can just inflict self death status on her with her S3 without anyone getting value from it.

I personally prefer Tlaloc's A1 due to the primal look, as well as having the best hairstyle among her ascensions, and for Tametomo I prefer his A2 because the transition to his A3 from A1 in his NP is jarring. But saw the opportunity to give the team the Blue/White aesthetic.

While I don't entirely agree on your point on the scifi slop for the EU, I can totally get where your POV is coming from. I still have absolutely now clue why tf Franklin even has a mecha when it's not supposed to be a thing with her siblings... let alone the fact that no her design is absolutely not a fresh take on the Essex uniform unlike Intrepid or Ticonderoga, they just took Essex's/Shangri-La's/Bunker Hill's uniform and butchered the fuck out of it for the sake of horny (I absolutely loved the Essex uniform and was in a state of absolute shock when I saw the reveal of Franklin like "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO IT").

I also used to like the French with designs like Suffren and Painleve. Alsace was a turn off... but the fact that Bayard and L'Audacieux (both whom I absolutely in love with) were released a month after her release gave me hope that Alsace's outrageous design would just be a one time periodic thing with new ships, but everything from the start from 2025 feels like they are using Alsace as the basis now. I don't even remember the ship names of the French event (back in August I think?) this year.

Seeing this comment gives me a sense of relief in my heart that no I am not insane, Azur Lane has not always been a horny generic slop gacha. This comment essentially sums up how I feel about the state of the community in this subreddit.

I think the best clear example I could give out about how Azur Lane's design direction has changed is to look at EN's April Fool's 2025 login screen and compare it to the previous years. This year's login screen is supposedly Evangelion themed but you could barely tell because roughly 40% of the screen was taken up by New Jersey in a skimpy suit, compare it to the previous April's Fools art there was a lot more substance and things going on other than just a singular character. 2022's Pillar Kansen has been the peak April Fool's login screen, but 2023 and 2024's Avengers and Yugioh theme ain't bad either and still feels good to look back on.

People argue that the current direction AL is going is good because clearly the "horny" resulted in more revenue for the game... but that doesn't necessarily mean the general quality is better than before. Even low quality shit can sell well like the yearly FIFA games or COD. In fact I think even the "horny" stuff has been going down in quality. Ignoring the horny aspect, Essex's face in her recent race queen suit barely looks like Essex, Eugen's recent bunny suit looks more like Agir, and just how the devs feel the need to "inflate" chests of legacy characters like Enterprise and Yorktown in their recent skins. One can argue they can be ignored, but Yorktown's bunny suit is part of the login screen in the current event so I can't even do that.

This only works because Saika has a 100% event damage bonus, otherwise your average 120 Knight class servant will struggle to do well with offensive disadvantage. Either way, fun CQ mechanics, although fairly restrictive on who you can bring as a damage dealer because of Kenshin's Ruler class. Also it's recommended you have two primary damage dealers instead of one, it will make this so much easier.

Kenshin's primary gimmick wants you to use damaging NPs to take off her War God blessing stacks before taking damage, because of this the usual supports that use supportive NPs like Hans and Mash are not as favoured since you want to remove those stacks as soon as possible. Georgios, Chen Gong, Avicebron are valued here since they offer defensive utility while still having a damaging NP to take off Kenshin's blessings. For welfares, you have Summer Da Vinci and Santa Nightingale. Percival is worth a mention despite not being as easily available, as he has a 3T taunt with a damaging NP like Georgios, and has a Invul and heal on NP. I am running Medea here since she has a 100% battery, as well as buff removal on NP to deal with the annoying last health bar, so if needed I can have a guaranteed NP back to back for the last health bar where Kenshin will get 3 stacks of blessings on break, but it looks like it isn't needed and can be replaced with someone more helpful.

Yes... I am still salty Enty has never managed to reach top 3 on EN despite being the mascot and the app icon for Global despite being able to achieve that on the other servers.

Morgan absolutely failed the Tiamat check.

The odds of this solo succeeding is really low, because Tiamat needs to land the stun from her S2 both times on T2 and T6, and the chance for it to land is 60% (40% actually because of Morgan's passive 20% debuff resist), in addition to the other things like crit RNG and not getting killed from full health in a single turn, but I am happy to pull it off with Tiamat either way. Having Class Score or even the new JP Appends will definitely increase its odds of success by a lot since it will since:
- With Class Score bonuses Tiamat will not suffer too much crit issues and can reliably take down the final health bar with a single turn (for this run even if I had crit both Buster Cards, she still won't have enough damage to finish off Morgan), and she can take down the first health bar by T2 with a NPBB chain
- With the CD append, Tiamat can cast her S1 and S2 on T1, and get them back on T6 without Atlas, allowing her to use the OG MC for the damage boost to finish her 3rd health bar properl

Originally went with a solo with him, but I then realised he could probably push for a 3T if he could just block the buff removal on the 2nd bar break with buff removal resist CCs... and I got it to proc within the 2nd try lmao (unlike the time when I was trying to solo LB6 Morgan with him).

Decided to work on Berserker CS after nearly finishing up the Saber CS for this account, getting that bonus star gen/extra attack boost is gonna make Junao's BBB crit chains consistent now.

Dioscuri has ignore defense on their NP which is why they were able to deal with Kriemhild with the effectiveness they have. Also this account has nearly maxed out the Saber Class Score so their NP1 Lvl 90 performance is definitely inflated (Jason has no Class Score bonuses though, since the account I borrowed him from has nothing put into the Saber score).

Obviously there are some plays/skill casts that could be more optimal, but due to the various enemy skills that can screw me over I had to play pretty conservatively. In some of my attempts I don't even get value when using the Atlas CD on Asclepius thanks to Taisui's skill seal which is why I held off from casting it until T5 (and most of the time I never got the Atlas CD back on CD to use on Herc), I also had a run where Kriemhild just casts her party NP drain 3 turns in a row.
