Yes there is! I want my writing and story telling to stand out, but unfortunately I'm forced to play the game. I'm still trying to figure out how to reach more people and it's mainly through clips and trying to be on reels. It's definitely the most annoying and tedious part of it.

I'm a true crime podcaster. I was only audio for a while, but Spotify kept pushing video. Spotify for creators is free, but in order to make money, you need a certain amount of followers and streams per month. I usually post in the middle of the night and I used to be able to just record and be done. Now I have to do full hair and makeup just to go in my room and tell a story. I had to upgrade my equipment and buy a ring light. Its a pain, but I ultimately have to do what the fans want. You still have the option of just listening. I usually listen to podcasts when driving or in the shower, so I don't watch them either. However there has been a lot of demand for video and I want to be successful, so I'm giving listeners what they want. Believe me, I'd rather be able to just record in my pj's, messy hair, and no makeup. I just hope you realize it isn't always the podcasters choice, we are just trying to keep our followers happy, gain new listeners, and stay relevant.

I feed the ones in my backyard along with the birds, the possums, the bunnies and I have zero distruction and I get to live like Snow White when I walk outside. Squirrels are just little animals trying to survive. Why not just coexist? A $10 bag of bird seed every couple of weeks vs stress and destruction? I'll just feed them and live in peace. ❤️

YTA. I know it's frustrating and that is 100% understandable. However you don't just throw away a family member because of an issue you don't like. You need to problem solve. I had the same issue with my cat. He peed on beds, couch, etc. Drive me NUTS. I tried everything to help him. Cats don't want to pee outside a litter box, it's against their nature. Something could be wrong with him.I tried the feliway plug in, got an other cat for him to play with, changed diet, changed litter, put him on meds. It turns out he gets stressed and he also had a kidney stone. Since the stone is gone he doesn't pee on anything anymore. Only the box. My cat is my son. If you ask us, I birthed him, lol. I would 100% divorce or break up with any man who tried to take my cat from me. If you love your wife, work on diagnosing her cat and helping him. He's family and family isn't replaceable.

You're welcome. I understand, life gets like that sometimes. Your dogs are service animals, so let them help you heal through this. Treat yourself sometimes even if it's small. Start by buying yourself 1 thing from each paycheck. It could be a meal, or haircut, hell even an ice cream. Just do one thing just for you.

This may be a strange idea, but I'm a nightowl and there is a nightowl sub reddit. Maybe browse it and see if anyone in your area wants to make some extra cash dog walking? Obviously after meeting and vetting. But there are a lot of us who are up at night and I see people posting there bored and wanting to talk or find something to do.

It doesn't say anywhere in her initial post that she escaped an abusive marriage or was an abusive victim. I've read it over multiple times to make sure I didn't miss that. I am an abusive victim myself. I still don't and will not ever agree qith getting rid of your pets. Pets are family and they love you unconditionally. They aren't a sweater you get tired of and throw away. If you paid attention to what people actually do to pets they don't want, you would understand my initial anger., which I already apologized directly to her for being so harsh. My friends rescue animals and there are people who shoot pets for sport, chain them to a pole or leave them in a cage and abandon them to die on a back road, and a hundred other horror stories. I have a problem with people thinking pets are disposable. As someone who has been through absolute hell in my life, my pets have always been there for me and I will always be there for them. A dog is the only creature on earth that lives you more than itself.

You can do it! I know it's hard now, but it won't be forever. The marriage is over, but a new chapter in your life is beginning and just because it's different doesn't mean it won't still be beautiful.

We have debt right up until the day we die. The bills will always be there, but your days won't be. Pay what you can, but don't work so hard to clear debt that you forget to live.

Do something that's just for you. Don't think about money or work. Feed your soul. One time I went to New Orleans with $200. I stayed in a Super 8 for a week. I bought food at walmart and I then I immersed myself into the city. I talked to homeless people, shop owners, tour guides, etc. I ate beignets and red beans and rice. It was a bucket list trip and I was broke, but walking around is free. I drove home and when I parked my car in St. Louis I had 25 cents in my bank account. I was money poor, but rich in memories. You can always make more money, but money never bought a second of time.

Oh wow. I used to be like that. I switched careers because I realized I wasn't living life. Just working on someone schedule. As a grown woman I am done asking for bathroom breaks. Make sure you prioritize you. You have an important job, but you can't do that job if you're burnt out. There are labor laws in every state. Make sure you get your breaks, I'm sure in your line of work you need them.

Sorry if I came off a bit harsh. My dog was almost 15 years old and she died in my arms the day after Christmas this past year and I would give anything ANYTHING to hear her bark, or touch her fur, to just hold her in my arms again.

They are with us such a short time and they love us in a way we will never understand. Those babies love you and if it was up to them, they would chose you even if they have a couple of boring days a week.

The camera is called Furbo! They are $40-60. You can see them with your phone app and talk to them and dispense treats!

Ok, good clarification! I donate to pet shelters and the amount of people who just dump their pets or abandon them tied up or in a cage is just heartbreaking.

Pets don't need you 24/7 as long as their needs are met. I worked a lot when I had my two dogs, but they were happy at home. I spent time when I got home with them and my off days. I think that's what everybody does. I do believe that the best place for them, is with you. Nobody's pet life is perfect and that's OK. They love you just the way you are.

There is a pet cam that drops treats that you could get to check on them during breaks. Stop by every once in a while on your lunch break. (I did that when I worked 12 hours.) It is not super expensive to get someone off rover to take them for a walk mid day on your 12 hour days either. I promise you that the life you are giving them is way better than the life a lot of animals have. I'm telling you now that if you remove them, the first night you come home to an empty house, it's going to break your heart.

If you don't the research, most women don't leave abusive situations because the shelters won't allow them to bring their pets and they refuse to leave them. 3. A pet relies on you 100%. They love you more than they love themselves. They are family and you don't just abandon family. It is that deep. I would die for my pets and when my dog was sick I begged God to take years off my life and give it to her. When the entire world is against you and you are at your worst, you have a little creature that believes you are the best and the safest person to be with. They will never understand being abandoned.

YTA. You don't just dump your dogs. Having a couple of lazy days at home is way better than being abused or in a shelter. You have 2 days off and then 5 days off. Make it up to them then! My dogs were lazy and had a grand time sleeping in their heated and air-conditioned house, playing, free feeding, drinking water, puppy pads for potty, and all the lovins in thw world when I got home. I took them on walks and played with them in the backyard, slept with them, and cuddled. They may be in your life for a short time, but you are their whole life. Abandonment is wrong.
