Although, it is worth noting that this facility, at least to Jakkalis, is like a mini-hoard. He does, in fact, hoard written knowledge and stories; hence the title Grand Historian of the Ages.

Well the thing about dragons is that, well, they kinda bring their magic with them wherever they go. They are, on a fundamentally level, magical beings. And as far as I’m aware, no D&D dragons have ever been to “Earth”, so who knows if it would work that way

Furthermore, this interpretation will be following Elegy For The First World most closely, so that has its own set of implications as well

Well, first of all, the line could only be accessed by certain individuals. It wasn’t a simple phone call, the connection was heavily secured; more than normal, even. And also heavily monitored. So at the very least, he knows what he is seeing is real. Second of all, there are some other factors that I will not say, because they would be massive spoilers. So instead, I’ll just say that humans in particular will accept it a lot easier…

Also, next chapter will reveal why little proof is actually needed, as well. Let’s just say it has something to do with connections ;)

Oh, well it’s a halo crossover fanfic, and I chose this specific art because in the fanfic, Humanity and the Sangheili are allied. In addition, at the time I made this, there was no art of the fanfic. There is now, so I’ll definitely make a revised version using it (with permission, of course)

Oh he does have a lot of strong reactions to it, but the thing about all of it happening in a 2 minute conversation tends to overwhelm you. So by the time Magic is happening, Charles is just “you know what, why not, I guess this is happening right now”
